Our Life: Argentina and Turkey Currency Update
Steam is updating how currencies are handled for Argentina and Turkey and Our Life: Beginnings & Always prices were updated to support that. We've changed the prices for the Argentina Peso and Turkish Lira, and added prices for the new LATAM-USD region and MENA-USD region.
I'm not sure if it will show immediately or if it will take time to fully roll out on Steam, but I do want players to be aware of what's going on.

Thank you all once more for the kind messages and feedback over the dozens of months of development. It was an incredible experience. And though Our Life: Beginnings & Always won't get further DLCs, GB Patch Games will still be around to make new stories! We hope to see you around again sometime.

FEATURES:
- Unlocks 5 Step 3 Moments: Sightseeing, Hang, Drinks, Mountain, & Planning
- Unlocks an entirely new storyline in Step 4
- Allows you to form a deeper relationship with Baxter Ward (platonic or romantic) and spend time more with your friends
- Includes new character sprite art, background locations, and CG images
- Provides even more options for adding custom qualities to your character. Is your protagonist a good dancer or do they have two left feet?
- Unlocks bonus scenes in the other Step 3 Moments where what happened in these events is referenced and reflected on
- Increases the overall playtime by multiple hours
The base game and some of the DLCs were updated with Baxter related alterations and general fixes. Please let Steam update those files before playing the new story.

And, well, here we are. It's been nearly three years since the original launch and the final Our Life: Beginnings & Always DLC is finally available. I cannot believe it took this long, and I can believe it even less that so many people have continued to follow us over such a lengthy development. Support for our team and the game has never wavered no matter how much time has gone by. That's something I'll always appreciate regardless of what happens in the future.
Thank you for moving into a sleepy neighborhood in Sunset Bird and making a life there. It wouldn't have been the same without you 🥰️!
Now I hope you'll enjoy this last full-length story of a particularly dramatic man. He requires a lot of patience, which clearly you have, haha.

Yes, there it is. We officially have a release date for the most dramatic man's story and the final DLC for Our Life: Beginnings & Always. May 19th, 2023. We appreciate all the patience for this news.

Our Life 1.6.1
Thank you to everyone who has played the Derek DLC, and thank you for the feedback on it, too. We've released a patch to solve some problems people were having. Mainly, there were issues if you loaded an older save in the middle of Step 2 and did the Derek events. And sometimes Soiree wouldn't count as completed for the Derek DLC even when you did the event, so Derek's version of Step 4 couldn't unlock. There were also small typos/visual errors that were fixed up along the way.
One occasional issue that's more personal device based is that sometimes the Derek DLC, or any other DLC, installs but the main game doesn't register recent updates. We've now added in a pop-up to let players know if they end up in a situation where their DLCs are current but the base of Our Life is out-dated. DLCs can only work properly if the core of the game has all of its new changes/additions as well.
If there's anything we missed, just let us know!

I appreciate how patiently people have waited for this expansion. It's been great to finally let Derek have his time to shine, and I really hope everyone loves him, and his lovely family too!
For the launch week, the Derek DLC is 10% off! And all the older DLCs are at a 20% discount, too. Plus, the base game and all the DLCs, other than the voiced name DLC, were also updated with fixes/Derek related alterations. If you have the game already, please let Steam update those files.
