Now that The Mortuary Assistant has been released. I wanted to circle back to my previous games and give them some love. My first stop is right here with Our Secret Below.
After enough time working on MA, I decided I simply want players to be able to experience the full story of OSB by experiencing the multiple endings that made me so happy with the game. It certainly wasn't impossible but there are parts that were a bit too opaque. While I haven't simply handed over the keys, I have provided a lot of improvements to make endings 2 and 3 a bit easier to understand how to get.
I have also included a few other improvements including overhauling the input system which now supports key binding.
If you've been a supporter of my work since OSB or before, thank you so so much! For you and new players; if you haven't gotten to experience the different endings of OSB, I hope you do now!

UPDATE NOTES:
Endings 2 and 3 are now much more fluid to achieve.
Minor quality of life adjustments for item discovery and play
After the launch of Our Secret Below, I did some bug fixing and then went right into Kohate for Halloween. Since then, I’ve been working heavily on my next big project: The Mortuary Assistant.
I work alone and my focus can only spread so far. However, I never want to just ignore my projects so I took some time to change some things I feel were lacking in the end-game experience of OSB.
Basically, I felt that the experience to get ending 2 and 3 were a bit convoluted and kept players from experiencing the entire story (each ending builds on the other to provide a much more compelling experience) so I wanted to smooth that out.
The goals are still the same, so any knowledge of the game you have acquired through playing is still needed but the quality of life approach to achieving each step necessary, I feel, is much more clean.
I think these changes really amplify the experience of the game while not changing things in a major way. I hope you have a great time and get to uncover the full story of Our Secret Below.
Thank you so much for playing and if you enjoy it, please remember to leave a review! Thank you so much!

Try my latest sci-fi horror for only $4.99
After Our Secret Below, I wanted to take the time between launch and Halloween to push and get a fun little game out in time.
I decided The Subject was a great setting to be able to expand upon and built a new experience around the Kohat complex location from the game. Kohate is a, small, stand alone project with a single goal of having a fun time in a single sitting.
Stealth horror
Multiple endings
secrets to discover
Casual mode (no monster)
Designed to be played in one sitting
Kohate a fun and easy way to support my larger projects. I hope you have a chance to give it a try and have some fun!
Kohate launch & Mortuary Assistant production started
After I launched Our Secret Below in July, I looked at the calendar and thought it might be cool to try and get a short game in out in time for Halloween. I wanted to jump right into The Mortuary Assistant but figured a few months on MA would not be as impactful as a full new title!
So I started on Kohate. A spin-off of my first project The Subject, Kohate focuses much more on the survival aspect as apposed to the puzzle-heavy aspect of The Subject. It's short, fun, and filled with secrets, lore, and multiple endings.
I also have an updated planned with a fourth ending for October 22. Kohate launches today for $4.99! I hope you can go pick it up and be sure to leave a review!

The Mortuary Assistant
Now that Kohate is finished, I have started on full development of The Mortuary assistant! The environment is larger, there will be more dead bodies, and you will actually embalm them! I'm very excited to start on this project as it is very special to me.
There is currently now launch date set other than an aim for spring-summer next year. So be sure to follow my Twitter and keep an eye on development!
Dev AMA and Ending 1 Walkthrough
I will be streaming Our Secret Below this morning in just a few minutes to not only give a chance to say hi and talk about the game, but to also work out all the kinks of streaming here on Steam before the launch stream of Kohate on October 15th!
Join me in getting the first ending of Our Secret Below and chat about development or anything else!
If you don't see the stream live above, you can head to the page directly here:
Our Secret Below is only $9.89 for a limited time!
Halloween is approaching and I'd be crazy to not throw Our Secret Below into the mix for spooky fun! I'm also launching my new short horror Kohate on October 15th and wanted to celebrate with a discount on my games throughout the month!
I plan to do a bit of a walkthrough for Our Secret Below and a developer AMA very soon. I'll be posting it here when I plan to go live! Thank you for having a look and I hope you have tons of fun!
Happy Halloween!

Hot Fix 1.2.1
I've done a quick update to fix a few issues for controller users:
You now only type "help" in the computer terminal to fix an issue with virtual keyboard not having a "/"
Adjusted sensitivity when viewing objects
Adjusted sensitivity when using combination dials
Changed some wording in the options menu to better fit controller or mouse usage
Full controller support now in OSB!
I've done a number of small adjustments to the game in this update with one larger update being full controller support!
I spent a long time re-working item interaction and computer terminal usage for controller support. The Normal mouse and keyboard experience stays the same but if you switch to a controller, the game will automatically use a virtual keyboard when needed and alter item interaction to suit controller usage.
Full List of Updates
Full Controller Support with virtual keyboard
Tips now display in the loading screen
Adjusted some item placement in the game to improve game flow
Changed some wording in some item descriptions to help guide the player more
More bug fixes
Thank you so much for playing Our Secret Below and keep and eye out for a steam page for my new mini game Kohate coming out in October!

Drop it like it's Hot FIX v1.0.6
Though I have loved trolling with the space bears and the intentional design of having limited item space. I have decided it's better to give the ability to drop items.
The last thing I want is new players thinking the game is unintentionally broken if they accidentally fill their inventory. I feel this solution does not impact the game in a negative way so it's beneficial for all. Enjoy!
Added ability to drop items. Clilck "drop" button in the pause screen
Hot Fix v1.0.5 (French and German)
Fixed an issue where certain dialogue systems would freeze if playing German or French
Fixed an issue where journals could be stuck closed
Fixed a bug where the hint alert would not show up if you start the game with hints on
