Nerd Monkeys and Hatinh Interactive are really excited to finally reveal Out of Line a puzzle platformer all hand-drawn in a unique 2D style
Out of Line will be set within a mysterious, hand-drawn 2D world that tasks players with piecing together clues from its environment to discover its deeper meaning. Each new level and discovery is another stepping stone for San on his journey to discover his purpose in life.
The story isn’t told through convention text boxes, but instead relies on the natural curiosity within each human to explore and reveal new developments. The story will be a more immersive experience, relying on interaction with the game world to fully understand.
The central mechanics of Out of Line revolve around San’s spear. San doesn’t view this spear as a weapon and the player won’t be able to directly attack foes. Instead, you’ll be utilizing your spear in different fashions to avoid confrontation or manipulate the world around you.
