Weekly Update
There are a lot of changes coming to the game.
I have been building a skills and levelling up system. This was more work then I first thought. I have had to change code in almost every script. I am almost done with the skills tab and levelling up systems.
I am aware of a bug with updates thats causing players to have to download the full size of the game. I have reached out to get help with this. As soon as I have a solution to this I will upload the next patch/build.
The advantage to having had to rewrite nearly every script is I was able to spot alot of bugs and fix alot of things I wasn't aware of.
So much has been changed that I will probably have to do a new trailer when the next patch goes live.
The new build will also no longer use a scrap button but instead you will have to be holding a melee weapon to gather materials. I will add alot more detail into the patch notes of the next build. I just thought the scrap button thing is something you guys might want to know ahead of time.
Weekly Update
There isn't much to report this week.
The rebuild is underway and moving along slowly but surely.
For the current build the week has been spent talking to customers and changing the game based of thier feedback.
Patch 3
Patch 3 just went live.
Players can now set custom Keybinds.
Menu now uses buttons over links.
Sun Rays and Moon Rays added.
Patch 2
Patch 2 just went live.
Emus added.
Going for a swim now refills thirst.
More bugs fixed.
Weekly Update
I have spent the week working on animal models. Updates will be coming soon to add them in.
I also spent a large portion of my week looking into extra features to add.
I have started working on a rebuild that uses a C based language. To allow the extra features I want to add.
The rebuild is going to take time.
So moving forward I will still be making new models and updating the current version while working on the rebuild in my down time.
Sale
For the next 7 days Outback Survival will be 40% off.
Patch 1
I just finished uploading patch 1.
There are some changes to the map.
Kangaroos added.
Sausage rolls added.
Meat Pies added.
Fixed some bugs.
Weekly Update
This week I have been focusing on models and map.
Sorry there isn't much to report this week guys.
The map is huge, and models take time to make.
But my focus moving forward will be making the map/terrain look nicer and coming up with animals and other new models to add.
