Performance Bug Fixes:
-Fixed a bug that would cause random crashes.

-Fixed a bug that would cause stuttering and freezing when loading Act 1.

Note: Outpost 13 should now perform significantly better.

Bug Fixes:
-Fixed a bug that would cause the various discovery/health bars to not reset on the next day.

-Fixed a bug that would cause cafeteria lady to appear in both the buffet and kitchen area at the same time.

-Fixed a bug that would unlock the Outpost and shutdown the night time “mode” if a player continued from a nighttime save point.

-Modified the Lab 2 clue to show the full solution to Mix B, Mix A still requires trial and error for #9.

-Fixed a bug that would cause Graham & Dr. Meow Meow Jones’s animation to bug out when performing the alternative fatality in Lab 2.

-Fixed a bug that would cause Ash to be sleeping in the wrong room.

-Fixed a bug that would cause the Flamethrower guy to walk on top of the table in Lab 2.

-Various small tweaks.

-Revised Intro/tutorial: I plan on reworking the beginning of Day 1 and/or the tutorial to better explain the mechanics of Outpost 13, so that I can do away with the "info screen."

-Investigating a bug causing the end game scene of Act 1 to not trigger. This should be resolved after the Nov, 2 (2.3.8) Patch. Will investigate further non the less.

-Adding missing crew members during downtime and after-hours.

-Improved localization.

-And more.

-Fixed a critical bug that would not allow the player to complete the game if the Med Lab was completed before the garage was completed.

-Fixed a bug that would allow players to initiate the Med Lab puzzle prematurely.

-Fixed a bug that would allow players to complete the Med Lab puzzle prematurely.

-Fixed a bug that would trigger the Cafeteria machine to initiate prematurely when typing in the key code.

-Fixed a bug that would not allow the player to exit the end game credits.

-Fixed a bug that would cause the credits to not complete scrolling.

-Rebuilt and polished Cafeteria puzzle mechanics.

-Fixed a bug that would cause both crew members in the cafeteria to use the cafeteria machine at the same time.

-Added temporary fix for Med Lab: Creature item in inventory will now return to your inventory if player is unable to solve the next step of the Med Lab puzzle within the allotted amount of time. Permanent fix is being worked on.

-Added a pause screen to the game, as requested.

-Added a "hint on/off toggle" to the main menu that will disable Tantalus's hints, as well as disable the "info screen" before playing.

Introducing the Community Localization Initiative!

What is this?


As apart of an ongoing effort to improve the localization of Outpost 13, as well as provide easier information access and collaboration to forthcoming localization volunteers, I've created the "Community Localization Initiative" section on the forums. Only game owners can see or post in these forums.

How will this work?


Each one of the languages below will have their own thread in the forums featuring a dialogue script in English. As they are completed and approved, I will update the discussions as "completed."

Where?


(Here) As a reminder, only owners of the game will be able to see and/or make a post in this sub-forum.

Do I get anything if I help?


Those who contribute and are approved, even if it's just a single line, up until the localization for that language is marked as complete will receive a localization credit in the game's credits.*

-Added a volume controller to the main menu and alternate main menu. (in black/white, bottom left corner).

-Corrected the game description to clarify that Outpost 13 is an homage to The Thing, Alien, and X-Files. I also added a legal disclaimer at the bottom.

-Fixed a bug that would cause crew member Ash to be invisible in her bed sleeping.

-Fixed a bug that would lock the vent map system open after the morning transition.

-Finally found and fixed the Lab 2 bug that would lock you in the lab if you entered the Lab whenever the Doctor was leaving/in the process of leaving!

-The code for the Cafeteria machine is no longer a combination of the clue’s numbers, it is now the exact combination found in the clue.

-Fixed the computer interaction mechanic in Lab B.

-Fixed the chemical mixing interaction mechanic in Lab B.

-Fixed a bug in the Cafeteria that would cause a terrible audio trigger/loop when the food machine activation reached 60%.

-Fixed a bug that would cause the top exit of the outpost to appear useable at times when it is not.

-Fixed a bug that would cause the snow foot step sound to be triggered when inside the Outpost.

-Changed the text on the game over screen.

-Corrected the localization support on store front to reflect the current lack of interface localization.

-Doors should be working without issue. Please let me know in the comments if you’re still having issues. This is a high priority “fix” if this is still happening.

-Fast Travel: Holding the Left-Shift Key while walking, will now slightly more than double Fen’s travel speed.

-Updated the Language selection screen.

-Fixed the intro/tutorial removing the confusion with the vents.

-New Polish, French, Italian and Greek dialogue translations added.

-Tweaked a bug that was affecting the lab 2 exit.

Slacker Backer Keys?

I fixed a bug that would cause the Garage and Lab 2 areas to permanently lock after saving the game.
