This is a small hotfix to an exploit introduced in 1.0.4.
Fixed an issue where the player could jump and dash without friction for a brief period of time in certain situations
Update 1.0.4 is Live!
This update fixes a couple bugs with Episode 7, and adds a new input scheme targeting speedrunners.
Added a "Dedicated Dash Button" option that forces the dash button to always result in a dash, even if you release the button early. Dashes can still be held under this input scheme, and will still charge up before releasing
Fixed an exploit where Asterion could be hit multiple times in a single phase
Fixed a bug where the player could be killed after defeating the final boss, resulting in overlapping death and victory screens
Side Note: Overclocked now has an official speedrunning community! Check out https://www.speedrun.com/Overclocked for more information and a link to the Discord group.
As always, please let us know if you encounter any issues!
Update 1.0.3 is Live!
Hot off the heels of 1.0.2, this update fixes a couple additional bugs.
Fixed an issue where a death could occasionally be counted twice
Fixed a crash when completing the final challenge
Fixed an issue where dying or restarting on the first stage of an episode would disqualify you from getting the "no deaths" achievement for that episode
Update 1.0.2 is Live!
First of all: a big thank you to everyone who's been playing the game, leaving feedback, and reporting bugs. It's been wonderful watching people experience Overclocked for the first time.
Update 1.0.2 contains fixes and a couple small level tweaks to create a more balanced experience.
Patch Notes:
The "Consequences" and "Final Hero" achievements are now unlockable
- If you've already completed the final episode, "Consequences" can be unlocked by simply re-watching the final cutscene
- To unlock "Final Hero", you will need to re-complete the final episode without dying
A couple of minor rendering issues with the Leaderboard have been resolved
A couple of stages have received minor tweaks to improve the difficulty ramp
Please let us know if you encounter any issues, or if you have feedback on the game. We hope you continue to enjoy your time with Overclocked!
