Patch 1.1 - Updated engine

Overdosed: A Trip To Hell is finally coming out of Early Access on 23rd May with our final update! This sees the game complete with the never before seen Mansion arena!

Its been a long road to bring this game to life and I've learned a lot over the past couple of years. It's always been my aspiration to create games that I can be proud of and share my creations with the world. Hopefully, if enough of you buy it I can continue on to bigger and better games in the future :D

Patch 1.41 - Leaderboards!

Using the steam leaderboard system, new high scores are added to a global leaderboard.

Also a few achievements have been changed to use steam stats, so you can keep track of your progress towards certain achievements.

Patch 1.4 - Added Haunted theme adventure!


  • Haunted adventure is now available from the 'hub' level
  • 5 new haunted enemy types
  • Added achievement for haunted completion
  • Added player icon to big map
  • Hub level now has rare pickups
  • Kicks do damage buff fixed
  • Many balance changes

Patch 1.35 - Minimap updates + Gameplay changes


  • Uzi now has infinite ammo (but damage varies with each shot)
  • Minimap and big map only shows explored rooms
  • Added flickering lights to adventure mode
  • Added ambient particle effects to adventure mode

Patch 1.3 - Controller support added!


  • Added full controller support (even menus can be navigated with the thumbstick or d-pad!). Ideal for steams 'big picture' mode!
  • Fixed a bug where enemies would keep attacking during the exit cutscene on stage 5/
  • You can no longer shoot through one of the doors in the arena level/


With this patch, the keybindings in the game may mess up if a file called Input.ini is not automatically updated. To fix this, navigate to C:\Users\ USER\AppData\Local\Overdosed\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor and delete Input.ini then load up the game and it should be re-created correctly.

Patch 1.2 - Minimap added!


  • Upgraded engine to Unreal 4.10
  • Changed 'dodgy pills' minigame (to fix stability issues)
  • Added minimap
  • Added full map (default key is 'M')

Patch 1.1b

First off, the version number in the menu is still the same. I just forgot about it, not really worth recompiling again just to change it.

  • Crash fixing improvements
  • Fixed enemy spawning issues
  • Newly spawned enemies now have slow effect if in matrix mode
  • Changed objectives text info popup (to fix stability issues)

Some enemies may get bunched up and stuck, I'll be fixing this soon so get some easy kills while it lasts :D
