Overdrive Season 2 - Apocalypse Patch Notes
- Season 2 is here and the Apocalypse has begun, unseen forces have unleashed chemical weapons upon Pulsar Island and the soldiers of Pulsar Island face their greatest threat yet.
Pulsar Island Map Update 🗺️
- The Apocalypse brings new explosion sites which contain high tier loot but are also highly contested, can you fight your way through these zones? A mysterious machine has also appeared in the woods causing earthquakes and other interferences with not only the island but also the safe zone, what is it doing?
32v32 Assault ⚔️
- The biggest battle for Pulsar Island begins with the all-new 32v32 Team Deathmatch. Win a match in this mode to unlock the Trench Warfare camo.
Ranked & Levels Reset 🏆
- New season, new beginning. All ranked points and account levels have been reset. Camo challenge progress has not reset.
AI Improvement 🤖
- AI have been significantly improved and are now a lot more accurate from longer ranges. We will continue experimenting with AI to give the player a fair challenge.
General / Quality of life changes 👍
- Now costs less RP to enter a new rank, official Ranked Leagues changes are available in the S2 Ranked patch notes
- Weapon Mastery now costs 500 eliminations with two attachments equipped, was previously 1500
- User Interface changes
- Shadow quality updates mainly in Assault modes (prioritizing performance in Battle Royale)
- Selected game mode now saves meaning when you enter the lobby you can go straight into your favourite mode
- Assault 12v12 and 32v32 career stats now differentiate and you can view both of them
- Seasonal and Challenge tabs have reappeared and have been updated
- You can now exit Assault matches in either 12v12 or 32v32
- Camo previews now appear darker if the camo is not yet unlocked

- New content throughout Season 2 including: Mini-Royale, Training Grounds and more.
- Season 3 arrives June 24th and with it comes [CLASSIFIED]
