Hey everyone! Overloop is being featured in PAX/EGX this week so we're going to be streaming gameplay throughout the week!

Fire your clone gun to make copies of yourself in this inventive puzzle platformer. Use clones as stepstools, or to hold down trigger plates, or to block laser beams. Is it ethical? Maybe. What if it is in service to overthrow a dystopian empire? Maybe that makes it ok!

Overloop demo is back for PAX X EGX!
The Overloop demo is back! We're making the demo live for the duration of the PAX Online X EGX Digital event, which runs 12-20 September, and it's available to download right now from the Store page.

The demo offers a lovely little taster of what to expect from Overloop. Make clones. Kill clones. Try to keep the real you. Oh, and enjoy the pandas!

Overloop Update: Local Coop, New Art and Physics


What's up everybody?

Last months i've been working hard on Overloop. Finally today i'm ready to share the progress with you. It's an exciting moment and i hope that you will enjoy what i want to show.

Improved visuals



I liked an old Overloop's style, but i always felt like it's... too flat? It didn't have enough lights/shadows, dimension, details. I spent freaking huge amount of time designing new visuals. What i see now is a big pleasure for my eyes. What do you think?





Local Coop



Yes, there's a local coop and it works very well. One of my close friends said that Overloop plays 1000x times funnier with a friend. I'm going to agree with him. Unfortunately no multiplayer at this point, but let's see how local coop works first.







New physics



I totally re-worked physics from scratch. Even twice. Finally i came up with a solutions similar to one used in Celeste by Matt Makes Games. It means that new physics is very stable and it's precision is pixel perfect. Also it allows you to build towers from clones, like this:



Well, other than that i fixed hundreds or even thouthsands important things to make Overloop as good as i can.

Can't wait to show you the game and will do my best to make it soon in Beta 1. Are you still with me? Let me know your thoughts about all this.
