We've just put out a fresh update which addresses very long tunnels & consecutive objects not appearing correctly. Other than that, there have been a couple optimizations, but nothing major.
Thanks to everyone in the official discord helping out with bug reports!

Bunch-o-Stuff Update
Greetings Roadtripping Audio Riders,
We've added some helpful quality-of-life features, cleaned up the editor experience, and added some visual goodies throughout the game too! The biggest thing you'll notice is that tunnel holds now animate down the rails. It's a fun effect that really helps tie them in with the music. Another feature oft-requested by players was the ability to calibrate the audio for monitors/TVs with a delay. This can be accessed via Options > Audio.
Read below for a full list of changes since last time. And as always, feel free to join the official Discord and check out the future branch of the game to test out new features before they go live.
changelog

The 2020 Performance Update
Greetings Road Musicians,
It's been a long time since the last update, but rest assured there was a lot of work going into this one. We've done some optimizations across the entire game, focusing mainly on areas that had the biggest issues with players. It's still not perfect, but it's a huge improvement over how the game used to run. On top of regular bug fixes and tweaks, we redid a lot of the lighting throughout the game, including how sun rays bleed through environments. Fans of the game will notice a lot of little touches! Read below for a full list of changes since last time. And as always, feel free to join the official Discord and check out the future branch of the game to test out new features before they go live.
changelog Main Game: - Added performance fixes overall in all regions - Changed desert_comet to always be visible (when sky fog is off) - Fixed dynamic/antidynamic levels not loading properly - Fixed map softlocking when trying to load a level of unknown region - Fixed user level decoration sometimes being backwards - Fixed debug hotkeys being available on map screen - Changed lighting to cast light rays from sun - Changed night time to cast shadows - Changed omni time to only cast shadows from one light source - Fixed spacing of side lane conveyors in Mtn region - Fixed lighting inconsistencies between Editor and Main Game - Added center lane version of desert_passS - Fixed flickering shadows on user levels - Corrected user Plains levels not animating fields and showing the wrong color light - Fixed marker visibility / positioning / animations on village_lanternBridge, city_cross, plains_overpass, city_drone, ocean_chute - Fixed ocean_sail colliding through cliff walls - Fixed brightness error - Fixed city_drone animation stopping prematurely - Fixed map level disappearing when completing Expedition - Fixed ocean_falls visuals in HWY 704 - Fixed spacebar not working properly on tunnel holds
Editor: - Fixed being able to quick restart - Fixed plains_skyBridge being listed as a sky object as well

Original Soundtrack added to DLC!
When we first released the Sites & Sounds Collection DLC, we thought it would be cool to have a revised version of the soundtrack included. For some reason we didn't realize that people who wanted to hear the game's actual soundtrack would expect it to be the one in this DLC. Oops!
Today we are righting this wrong. And instead of replacing the old album for the new one, we're including both with the DLC. That's right, there are now 2 albums (84 tracks), all in MP3 and FLAC, included with the DLC. That's on top of the 7 playable prototypes and art book PDF. (If you already own the DLC, you already have the original soundtrack!)
Please enjoy the original music from Overpass!
This kind of feedback would not have made it our way were it not for the dedicated fans in the official Overpass Discord! Click that link to join in and meet other fans of the game, discuss level creation, and check out future updates before they go live for everyone else.

Overpass launch day!
Happy launch day, everyone! It's been years in the making (and even more years daydreaming), but Overpass has finally released to the masses. We are incredibly proud of how everything turned out and hope you get the chance to enjoy riding to the rhythm as well.
We have an active Discord channel filled with players sharing levels, strategies, and the occasional bugs they may find.
Things might be a little rough around the edges, especially when it comes to performance on some levels and moving about in the editor, but we are reading everyone's comments and doing what we can to sort everything out. Your patience is very much appreciated as we continue to make sure the game is as good as it can be.
If you haven't heard, there is also DLC available, the Sites and Sounds Collection, which features the full soundtrack by Makeup and Vanity Set, an art book PDF of concepts, doodles, and sketches with liner notes, as well as 7 playable prototypes chronicling various stages of the game throughout development, also with commentary for each. Check it out below for more info! https://store.steampowered.com/app/1098820
Lastly, thank you to everyone who has supported us as we worked on this beast. As most experimental games go, a lot of ideas had to come and go until we arrived at something unique, exciting, and truthful to what made us make this game in the first place. So, we thank you for being there, for playing the game today, tomorrow, and enjoying it just as much as we enjoyed making it.
Fixes are coming, new editor features are coming! We'll be sure to post updates as they arrive.
