We've just announced another BIG update to Savant - Ascent REMIX. Otus, Geddy, Alphonse and Twig from Owlboy will ascend on Dec 5th!
As our first official DLC for Savant - Ascent REMIX, you'll be able to play the entire game and all it's modes with the new characters!
A New Way To Play!
You can switch between each character (or gunners, as we like to call them) just like in Owlboy! Otus will be able to carry each gunner between platforms, creating a unique way to traverse the tower. We're fiiiiinally able to reveal our next title. We'll be doing our first showcase since Owlboy's launch at Gamescom, and we hope to see you there! More details on the title coming soon.
This build fixes a crash that may occur when backtracking, which prevented players from returning to the final dungeon. It also updates our backend, which may fix other crashes or stability issues on some PCs.
This patch should fix the backtracking crash on all platforms.
Owlboy Patch 4th of May 2022
We received reports that the new version of the game was still crashing for some players, and while we work on fixing this issue, we have decided to bundle the pre-patch version of the game in the installation, so players who are experiencing issues can effortlessly use an older version which may work for them.
When you start Owlboy from Steam, you may now choose the current version by choosing "Play Owlboy", or the original XNA-based version from before the 2022 update, by choosing "Play Owlboy (original version)".

Owlboy Patch 2nd May 2022
This is a hotfix for a crash that some users experienced on application startup in the previous patch.
As before, the you can access last year's version of the game on the old_xna_version beta branch in Steam if you experience issues with this build.

We've taken the opportunity to update Owlboy on Steam. The game will soon be available to play on Steam Deck.
The latest version should enhance loading-speeds across all operative systems & add additional controller support.
