Semi-Weekly Early Access Update #2.5

Update 3! (or 2.5?)
This update is a tad early but I’ve had a lot of people asking for me to put out Climbing mode so here it is!

Update notes:

  • Added Googly eyes to player. (Soon to be more customizable)
  • Added Googly eyes dispenser! Put googly eyes on
  • ANYTHING* (except you own face and hands…)
  • Added new experimental locomotion system- let me know how you like it!
  • Added inventory below the player’s head- only in climbing mode, still unfinished and unreliable.

Semi-Weekly Early Access Update #2

Update No.2 is live!
Let me start off by saying sorry.
I didn’t get to make this update as big as I wanted to because I got wrapped up in fixing bugs while upgrading my painting system.
I also got wrapped up in adding recording to my game properly...
Next time maybe!

Update notes:

  • Fixed Twitch integration
  • Added Twitch options/channel join screen to the monitor view
  • Overhauled painting system- Works much more efficiently now
  • Made wall painting resolution 1024x1024 instead of 512x512
  • Added in-game MP4 recording! Grab the camera and press the grip button to start recording, it keeps recording for 30 seconds then opens up a folder to view your final file afterwards.


Upcoming in the next update:

  • At least 1 new level- one with a goal/small tasks?
  • More hats. (Suggest hats you’d like on the discussion board!)
  • TV People walking around the city incase you’re not logged in to an active twitch chat.
  • -more-? (Suggest features on the discussion board!)

Semi-Weekly Early Access Update #1

Hey guys!
I'm going to try to keep up with having an update ready at least every one or two weeks, this one is a day late from 2 weeks but that was because I finished testing it yesterday evening!

This update is mostly behind-the-scenes stuff, the actual game didn’t change much yet.

Update notes:

  • Added Main menu with first iteration of the level loading/selection system.
  • Added pre-game scene which waits for controllers to be detected to load the main menu.
  • Added Exit Taco.
  • Changed Hands behaviour, objects are no longer automatically grabbed if punched.
  • Changed Slingshot behaviour behind the scenes, the player should notice no change.


Upcoming in the next update: (Note: I did not get these things in the next update, I was overhauling the paint system which took up all my time...)

Slight update

Noticed the slingshot wasn't working for me at all, fixed it! Sorry for noticing so late, but it should be way more consistent now!
