Starting on Friday, May 21st at 4 AM EST, we will be turning on 2X Champion XP for every player in the Realm. This is the ultimate way to unlock your favorite Golden Skins you haven’t yet got in your collection! This event will end Monday, May 24th at 4 AM EST.

New Champion: Vatu, the Shadow
Behind every door of the mind is the fear of the darkness in the corner of a dimly-lit room. It is the unknown -- the terror without a form, but with a name: the Shadow.
Vatu's origins are shrouded in the same shadow he uses as a weapon. He is the knife in the night, ending an eternal conflict – he is the untimely death, never confirmed as accidental. He and the Thousand Hands guild have an understanding: they provide him with work and money, and he takes care of their problems. The only thing clear in his actions are his desire to protect his Ska'Drin people and his deadly capability to do so.
Wielding sharp Kunai and mysterious shadow magic, Vatu takes care of business with a ruthless efficiency matched only by his strict code of ethics. His are not the eyes you want to see staring back at you from the darkness, for by that time it is already too late.

Paladins 3rd Anniversary Week
Happy Anniversary to Paladins and our Champions in the Realm!
This weekend we kicked off by having 2X Event Pass XP, but starting on Monday we’re going to be giving away items in the game all week celebrating the 3rd Anniversary of Paladins.
You may recall back in January we had our first run of the all new Community Avatar Program, well these avatars that won are in a special chest now that you’ll have a chance to grab all 10 in this week. On top of all that, the special birthday spray you saw in our Season 4 Update Notes is also going live and up for grabs.
The avatars in the Community 2021 Chest so far are the following:

2021 Suspension/Ban Policy Update
Champions!
Over the past few months, we've received a number of concerns both from players around toxic behavior in our games. We’ve had several discussions around the topic, and are now taking steps internally to ramp up our efforts to remove anything that violates our standards. One of the steps that we are ready to communicate with you all today is that we have reviewed and adjusted our Suspension/Ban Policy.
Effective immediately, game suspension tiers have been updated to:
1st offense = 7 Day Suspension
2nd offense = 14 Day Suspension
3rd offense = Permanent Game Ban
The following has also been added to our policy.
Ban Evasion Enforcement
If a player has been suspended or banned on an account, any subsequent accounts used during the duration of the suspension or ban by the player found by our support staff could be permanently banned.
Combatting Toxicity is a top priority for our team, and this is just one of several steps already in motion to ensure we continue to build long-lasting and inclusive communities around our games. We’ll have more to share on these efforts in the near future, so be sure to keep an eye on our official social media channels.

This Week in the Realm | May 3-9
Champions!
This week might be a little more quiet than last, but we still have some fun planned for you in the Realm. While you all continue to keep the hype for Vatu and the Shadows update, here’s what you can expect this week:
2X Event Pass XP
Starting this Friday, you’ll be able to get another chance at double XP for your Game On Event Pass. This will begin on Friday, May 7th at 4 AM EST. 2X Event Pass XP will end Monday, May 10th at 4 AM EST. So make sure you mark your calendars if you haven’t already finished, this is the best chance to get it done before we launch our upcoming Beach Bash Event Pass!

Developer Update - Paladins Forums
As of April 23rd, 2021, the Paladins Forums hosted on the Paladins website will no longer be available. The popularity and participation on this platform has decreased significantly over the years, and many players have found new places like Reddit and Discord to engage in Paladins related discussion.
We know that there are players that still frequent the forums, and we want to thank you for continued engagement, and for making the forums a fun place to hang out with other Paladins fans. We also want to give a god-like shout out to all of the community moderators that volunteered their time to make sure the forums were an inviting place for community members new and old. We can’t thank you enough.
If you were a fan of the forums and are looking for other places to chat about Paladins, make new friends, or form a party for some games, we encourage you to check out the channels linked below that you are welcome to join and engage in discussion.
