We're giving one fan the opportunity to choose the colour of a DINO of their choice to add to Paleo Pines!

Twitch Stream with the Paleo Pines Dev Team
This first stream is primarily for our team to become familiar with streaming again and so we're only telling our Discord community and you, our followers on Steam. We fully expect some things to go wrong while we get used to streaming again. Be patient with us!
We've got a delightful selection of people from our development team for you to chat with and the first theme will be Level Artwork in Paleo Pines. You'll get to see gameplay scenes from Veridian Valley and Dapplewood and hear about what it took to bring so much beauty and life to these areas.

Accessibility Considerations in Paleo Pines
We fully recognise that there is much more we could have done given time and resources, but we wanted to share our current accessibility considerations for Paleo Pines.
We will continue to improve upon these over time so that the widest audience possible can enjoy the game.
- Our UI was designed by a person with dyslexia, and our dialogue font size is a nice chunky 24p.
- For gameplay critical elements, such as the dino bubbles, we chose colours that take into account colour blindness.
- Where audio elements are gameplay critical (such as the dino friend call), we have included visual cues to ensure people with hearing impairments can play.
- The default character speed can be slowed down to a walk to increase accuracy for people with fine motor impairments.
In addition, In Paleo Pines, you will have the ability to adjust the audio options to suit your needs and preferences with the game loading at 50% volume and music, sounds and UI all being adjustable.
Audience questions:
Will there be motion blur and can it be disabled?
There is no motion blur but there is a general blur as part of the aesthetic and yes it can be turned off as part of the accessibility settings.
What about neurodivergent people?
There are many ways in which people can be neurodivergent, and we have a team with a variety of neurodivergences who have all contributed their thoughts to the game. However, we haven't specifically targeted any neurodivergences in isolation.

Befriending dino companions is the name of the game in Paleo Pines - tasty treats, nose boops and comfy pens will aid you in your quest to fill your haven with a variety of creatures. You’ll keep track of their dislikes and favorites with a handy dino journal. Paleo Pines also provides a variety of locations to explore - from flowery fields to high canyons, you can make the most out of each day exploring enchanting landscapes and witnessing different species in the lush wilderness.
