Pandora: Eclipse of Nashira is now available!

“Zeus, father of the Olympians, made night from mid-day, hiding the light of the shining Sun, and sore fear came upon men.” (Archilochus)

The world of Pandora, mankind’s new hope, was already a dangerous place for the human colonists. A hostile environment where vile alien creatures roamed the land and these did not welcome the human visitor. As if all these hazards were not enough, Pandora has now become an even more dangerous place. As the sun grows dark, a new enemy species reaches the surface of this hostile world, rising up from the depths of Pandora and a new human faction joins the competition for the planet’s dominance.

In order to cope with these new enemies, you will need to use new features to their advantage. The new diplomacy and intelligence options allow you to better cooperate in times of need, or harass a potential enemy before hostilities break out officially. You will also be given new defensive mechanisms, such as the ability to drop mines from orbit in order to disrupt enemy formations. For the first time in Pandora, you will also be able expand beyond their land into the sea, in order to look for those precious resources that will give youan edge over your foes.

With these new features and enhancements, Eclipse of Nashira further improves upon the fan favourite series developed by Proxy Studios. Giving players more options, more challenges and more variety in an already addictive 4X game.

Celebrating the release of this expansion, we are offering a 33% discount on both the Pandora: First Contact base game as well as on the Eclipse of Nashira expansion! We are also offering a combined package, giving those who wish to buy all the content in one go extra savings.

Pandora: Eclipse of Nashira will be available from our own stores and on Steam. We will be offering a free Steam key to anyone who buys the game from our stores.

Pandora: Eclipse of Nashira gets release date

Since the release of Pandora: First Contact in late 2013, developers from Proxy Studios have been carefully collecting players’ feedback and thinking about the pros and cons that were highlighted by the community. At the core of this debate were requests about the diversity in this 4X sci-fi game, and the richness of the diplomatic relations between the factions. As a result the team has been working hard to make the game deeper and released several patches and a free expansion – Return of Messari – that went in this direction, and brought brand new content with a game changer that ensured fun and challenge for the late game.

Even though diplomacy has been improved by the patches, it was still not a decisive feature in the game. But the time for blind and demonstrative war will come to an end on September 19th, the official release date of Eclipse of Nashira, the ultimate expansion for Pandora: First Contact.

Indeed this new add-on is really focused on shadow warfare and underground moves. Espionage, sabotage, riots, and technology theft are only few examples of the new sneaky possibilities that await the players. At the same time the different factions start to expand beyond the planet's landmass to generate more resources, opening up a new frontier. Once more the balance of power should be reconsidered on this inhospitable planet, and both ruse and low blow will now play a major role on the surface of Pandora.

We are also pleased to announce that the game will be available both on our stores and on Steam!
