1 Day Left! Release Celebration and Klabater Publisher Sale

There is only one day left before the Strategic Mind: Fight for Freedom release, and we are ready to start Starni games release celebration with nice discounts for all our previous titles. Do not worry - we will add Strategic Mind: Fight for Freedom to the Strategic Mind Complete Collection bundle - and if you have all other titles, you would be able to get it alone with a 20% bundle discount.
Today, we have a special event in store for you. Last year we partnered with the Klabater company to produce and publish console ports for the Strategic Mind: The Pacific and Strategic Mind: Blitzkrieg. So, the Klabater team is hard at work producing the ports and plan to have them ready later this year.
Starting 20 May there will be a week-long Klabater publisher sale on Steam and they kindly invited us to participate as their partners with the Strategic Mind series. While we are in charge of the PC publishing, the console release will be done by the Klabater team and we all are rooting for its success. We will keep you informed about the console porting progress.

2 Days Left! Developer’s Diaries: New Music Tracks Added to the Soundtrack
Only two days left before the Strategic Mind: Fight for Freedom release and we are happy to announce that we have already uploaded all new tracks to the Strategic Mind Franchise Soundtrack. All owners of the Soundtrack can just update it to get all the new additions. If you do not have it yet, you can check it out here:
Strategic Mind Franchise Soundtrack is shared across all current and future Strategic Mind titles and is updated every time the new titles comes out - so you only need to purchase it once to get it all. Additionally, we use the funds raised through the soundtrack sales to add more music, especially historical tracks into our games. In the soundtrack all additional tracks added thanks to the soundtrack supporters are marked as [community funded].
We have two main types of music tracks: cinematic ones (that used in cinematics) and gameplay (used during the actual playthrough). Below are a couple of tracks we created for the cinematics. In one of our next dispatches we will share with you a couple of the community supported tracks for the Strategic Mind: Fight for Freedom as well.

When we first thought about adding a separate soundtrack, part of our team was very skeptical about it. Our games are not that popular, and the success of the soundtrack seemed very unlikely. Yet, we decided to give it a go and see that will work out. The results exceeded our expectations by far, and helped us add a lot of great music into our latest titles. We hope to build on this good start and develop the Strategic Mind series not only gameplay-wise, but also in terms of sound and other important elements of the game.

The Strategic Mind: Fight for Freedom will be released on 21 May 2021, at 19.00 CET (10.00 am PDT). It gradually becomes our good tradition to offer discounts on previous titles during the new title’s release. So, this time we will also provide very nice discounts for all Strategic Mind titles.
Additionally, we will add Strategic Mind: Fight for Freedom to the Complete Collection bundles - that means you can get the game at release with a 20% discount, if you have all other Strategic Mind titles and soundtrack.

8 Days to Release - Douglas A-1 Skyraider The US Attack Aircraft
In the age of the turbojet, Douglas A-1 Skyraider flew as a piston-powered, propeller-driven blast from the past.
With the rapid development of jet aircraft towards the end of the war, dozens, if not hundreds of piston engine aircraft became obsolete. The Skyraider could have joined their lot, but its innovative turbo-compound engine gave it a chance to prove itself - and prove itself it did.
A solid, well-made and innovative at a time, Douglas A-1 would last well into the Vietnam War, only decommissioned in the 1970s. It was an attack aircraft that could shred ground targets with its 20-mm autocannons, carry out tactical bombings (with its payload capacity of 3600 kg) and deliver torpedo strikes equally well.
There is no telling how effective Douglas A-1 would have been in WWII if it were finalized and deployed faster. And in Fight for Freedom, you’ll get to explore that exact possibility.

Starni Games insides - 9 days to release
We have updated Demo for the upcoming Strategic Mind: Fight for Freedom on 8 May - Victory in Europe Day. So, some of you have already played it through and supplied us with valuable feedback, observations and reports. Thanks to it, we are now preparing fixes and will deliver them on Steam tomorrow.
We are also hard at work in preparations for the 21 May Strategic Mind: Fight for Freedom full release. Will keep you updated on our progress.

General! We would like to celebrate V-E Day by uploading a new Strategic Mind: Fight for Freedom Demo build for free. So, now everyone can enjoy the game and live through the epochal events, such as the Normandy landings.
We are immensely grateful to all the valiant soldiers who fought in WW2 and brought the World age of peace and prosperity. Now, we can see the horrors of massive conflicts only in games, and we get to choose which games to play. We think there is a lot to be learned about our society and human nature in general by studying the events of WW2 - and what better way of immersing oneself in these events than to become an active participant, even if only in the game.
The New Demo
The new Demo has around 5 hours of gameplay - the first operations of both the UK and the US campaigns. Overall the build runs great and there should not be any serious technical issues. There is some stuff that we still have to iron out, especially in localizations and cinematics, so the most vigilant players may notice some issues, but we are working day and night to correct everything before release, so do not worry - we will do our best to correct all possible shortcomings. In fact, if you notice anything weird - make sure to let us know at our community hub - and we will do our best to fix it asap.
The Game Release - 21 May
The full game will be released on 21 May 2021, so there are only two weeks left. Wishlist Strategic Mind: Fight for Freedom, so that you do not miss its launch.
