Night Phoenix is back in the Strategic Mind series with the 14th operation in the USSR campaign - the Balaton Defensive Operation. He is one of the most insightful YouTubers in terms of game mechanics and overall understanding of the game - he gained our team’s respect after completing the whole playthrough of Panzer Strategy on 100% difficulty, which is quite a feat, as well as Japanese campaign in The Pacific. Fight for Freedom will participate in the Dreamhack Beyond 24-31 July
Today the DreamHack Beyond starts! It is an interactive event when you can create your own character, cheer for your favorite game teams, participate in side quests, play free demos, and more! The event will run 24-31 July.
Hello, guys! Some of you probably remember the community vote we held when deciding the historical tracks lineup for the Strategic Mind: Fight for Freedom. We think it worked out greatly, so now we are back with the new vote regarding the Strategic Mind: Spirit of Liberty.
We want to let you participate in the Strategic Mind: Spirit of Liberty development and help us choose the best tracks that will then be recreated by our partners - Daraba Studio to serve as the game soundtrack.
Our goals:
We want to select 5 tracks that for sure will be in Spirit of Liberty.
We will most likely pick at least one track from each of the Classics, Marches, and Propaganda categories below.
Note! All tracks we create will be instrumental (no voice). So, while we link some songs for the reference, there will be only tunes in game. Make sure to take that into account when you make your choice. Some tracks might lose much of their value without the voice.
All tracks we link are just the reference and the final tracks we create for the game might differ significantly in the way they are performed and their length.
Rules:
Choose one of our community hubs and post your choices there - multiple entries by a single Steam account do not stack.
Choose 5 tracks you like most and rank them. The number one gets 5 points, number two gets 4 points, etc. Example vote: 1. Jean Sibelius - Karelia - Intermezzo [gets 5 points] 2. The more points the track gets - the more likely you will listen to it in game.
Steam vote is the key vote, but we will hold other votes on Reddit (or other media) that will serve as a recommendation and hold less power. You can participate in both.
You are encouraged to leave any feedback and/or suggest other tracks that could be added to the game. However, make sure you have stated your 5 choices clearly first.
The vote lasts from 21 July to 1 August. All later entries will not affect the results.

To get your first four cards you just need to play for a few hours. You have already received them if you have played the game before. Here are all possible cards you can get:

Last week we travelled to another city in Ukraine - Odessa to our first offline game conference since the start of the pandemics.
We have participated in the Indie Blast competition with the Strategic Mind: Fight for Freedom and had a free demonstration space thanks to that. For 2 days anyone interested in our projects or cooperation with us could come to our desk and discuss any topics or just play the game and give us feedback.
Our CEO and Founder Ihor Tymoshenko and Lead Game Designer / COO Oleksandr Sienin gave a joint talk about our company's path, financial results, and valuable lessons we have learned the hard way. The audience was very pleased and even surprised by the level of transparency and frankness we have shown throughout the talk, as few companies are ready to share all the sensitive information about them due to various reasons including NDAs.
Overall, we are very happy that we decided to spend these few days among like-minded people and had lots of interesting discussions.
There will be an even bigger from the same organizers in Kyiv - our hometown in December 2021, and we are looking forward to going there with everyone on the team who would want to participate. We plan to showcase Strategic Mind: Spirit of Liberty there.
