The “Partisans 1941 – Back Into Battle” DLC allows you to customize and approach missions in your own way in Missions Mode. Choose from five familiar missions (available for everyone) and seven brand new missions (exclusively for DLC Owners), then set yourself a challenge with the modifier system. Create your dream team of Partisans, then customize and outfit them freely to suit your strategy. Use this new freedom wisely: the new challenges will be a real test of your skills as Partisan commander!
On top of that, the DLC introduces “Heroic Defense” mode. Overwhelming enemy forces, scarce resources, one Partisan position to defend: How long can you hold the line in this all new, tough as nails wave-defense mode?

This confirms us in our work to further improve the experience of the game and to tackle the bugs and issues you brought to our attention since the release of Partisans 1941. For now, these are the changes and fixes that are taken care of with the new patch:

...Wow!...What a release! After an already great first weekend the interest and passion gamers all over the world have shown for Partisans 1941 is overwhelming - but we can’t be too overwhelmed, we still have a job to do:
We appreciate all your love for the gameplay, but also the bugs and issues you have brought to our attention during the last 2 weeks. We immediately started to tackle a lot of those with our first patch after the first weekend. And we promised to keep it up. We might not have eradicated every last bug there is yet - but we are on a good path...
These are the changes and fixes that we were able to compile into todays patch:
Some changes only apply if you start the mission again from the base.
General Fixes:
Now it's possible to rebind all the in-game buttons. Fixed problem with blocked partisans right after mission starts. Doors are working better now. Fixed possibility to shoot through doors. Fixed amount of bullets in the weapons after player places it into the warehouse. Improved enemy cone of view visualization. Fixed problem with blocked partisans, who were sent to perform any activity at camp. Patrol with a dog now reacts correctly after dog's death. Mines and traps can now be placed on the corpses of enemies. Fixed an issue with impossibility to save on "Execution" mission. Increased noise radius while shooting pistols. Fixed Steam achievements.
Partisans balance fix:
- Belozerova's ability "Fan fire" now has increased radius of shooting. Decreased max distance of ability using. - Belozerova's ability "Evasion roll" now has increased distance of roll. Strongly decreased cooldown of ability. - Sanek's ability "Disguise" now can't be activated during combat. - Nikitin's ability "Massacre" has decreased max distance of ability using. - Morozov's ability "Whistling" radius is strongly decreased. Ability cooldown is decreased. - Different abilities which affect character speed now can be saved correctly (for example "Strength" or "Sprinter").
Other fixes and improvements:
- Russian voiceover now is set by default. - Different art improvement on maps. - Decreased loading time. - Localization.

The first weekend with Partisans 1941 released to the public was a blast - even though some of us might have had less sleep than usual, it was needed that we can be there for you in the first hours and days whenever questions arose. We couldn't be more thankful for the amount of feedback you have been bringing in.
Because of this we already have a good overview about the sharp edges that some of you are still having issues with at the moment - which means we can focus now completely on solving them, to make the game as great as it can be!
As a reminder we would like also to mention that savegames from other pre-release versions like the demo, closed beta or even the pirated review version are not compatible with the release version (and following ones) and can cause unexpected issues .
Patch Notes:
Unique Partisan abilities got improved and related issues fixed: - Fan fire (Belozerova) now also affects enemies behind cover - Buckshot (Trofim) now also affects enemies behind cover - Steel/Iron Body will now prevent injuries as intended - Body shield (Nikitin) now lasts longer, HP of enemies used as shield got adjusted
Further polishing and improvement regarding: - Art - Localization - UI - Remnants of debug menu got removed
Please be advised that this patch does not cover all issues reported until now. But we are working hard to provide further improvement patches very soon.

Partisans 1941 is Available Now!
We are proud to be able to declare Partisans 1941 as officially released! Partisans 1941 is a real-time tactics game set on the eastern front of World War II. It features tactical squad combat, stealth elements, character progression, and resource management. Take control of Partisans, a brave group of resistance fighters, opposing the Nazi occupation behind enemy lines. Every mission must be carefully planned and initiated to overcome the enemy.
Recruit soldiers and civilians as unique allies to tackle a variety of challenges – from focused sabotage to extensive attacks on German supply lines. The expandable home base deep in the forest with different types of buildings serves as the Partisans’ hub in-between missions to arm and upgrade their own troops, manage and distribute resources, and take a break until the next objective awaits. Form a Partisan group to your liking and send them on autonomous tasks or take them into battle.

What an amazing wave of interest - We are glad that presenting Partisans 1941's Demo was a great success for all parties involved - you got some great game time and we got some great feedback!
We are at the moment in our final period before releasing the game, which is why our development team at Alter Games and our publishing team here at Daedalic Entertainment are putting all of their effort into finalizing the release.
This obviously doesn't mean, that we are not reading every post or message you are sending our way - only answering them one-by-one individually becomes a bit more difficult during this time of production.
To counter this, we selected some of the most frequent asked questions from the steam forums and tried to answer as good as we can at this point in time:
When is it going to be released?
As written on our store page of Partisans 1941 we have aimed to release "Summer 2020" and it looks so far like everything is going like planned, so that we can release the game end of this season. We hope to announce a precise release date soon.
Are you going to have Win7 support?
This is a bigger topic, that we keep on discussing further internally - but generally it is extremely difficult to maintain support for a system that the creators themselves have stopped supporting. We just don't have the capacity at the moment to deal with inevitably upcoming difficulties with those versions, as additionally, if we were to support Win7, we (in context of fairness) would have to support other out-of-date systems, as well.
What about censorship? Is it going to be worldwide, or maybe different versions for different regions?
Again, a bigger topic - You are correct, that in germany, where Daedalic Entertainment is based, the law about the depiction of this kind of symbols was updated recently - Unfortunately when releasing/publishing a game worldwide, though, there are multiple juristications we have to care about. And even if all the countries would allow it generally, we are working together with multiple partners to ensure a favorable release - partners that could have very different internal rules or perspectives on what they want to advertise and promote. Since there are so many various opinions about this topic - ranging from historical authenticity to the opposite spectrum, that asks, why we should give that ideology (in combination with their symbols) anymore "stagetime" in any shape or form - we need to discuss this topic further internally. One of the already discussed ideas could be an optional setting - but this would surely have to wait until after release and would have to be checked beforehand, if this is even possible.
Is it going to be released on the consoles? PS4, Xbox One etc.
As with most titles of Daedalic's portfolio, we are always trying to reach as many players on as many plattforms as possible. Eventhough for now the release on PC is our focus, this means that we are looking as well forward into the future to Partisans 1941 on consoles.
Any other shops? GOG, EGS?
This will be basically the same answer as for the console question - the more, the merrier! The only difference is, being connected to our PC release as well - so you can expect news on this regard earlier than news on future console releases.
