Update: More events added, new entrance fee system


Hello, community!



Is there a point in apologizing for being silent if you won't forget us monsters anyway? Yeah, we think so too. Anyway, despite of how foul we are we are finally bringing you this substantial update. Details below:
    v.0.9.014.a
  • New random (and crazy, of course) party events for you to handle. Talk about unexpected stuff.


  • Entrance fee system was reworked and optimized. We have received a lot of the feedback from you guys about the old system being obscure and unintuitive at times. Now the bigger the price, the less people will come, simple as that. Easier to control your audience and to make profit at bigger locations.


  • Party disappointment system underwent changes. We addressed a number of bugs and also made it more clear why partygoers were disappointed at times. In addition, a number of visitors who started to felt disappointed—and therefore left—was decreased.


  • Installed furniture icons now remain visible all the time.

  • Table descriptions were simplified. Profit per person is now indicated clearly as well as capacity. Also, serving the table now costs 30% of its total value.

  • Arcade cabinet was added as an early game green grade equipment. Gamer party theme now works better. Arcade cabinets don't need to be refilled.

  • Fixed high grade characters unlocking on early stages on the game
  • Fixed toilets
  • Fixed janitors
  • Fixed quests based on the old Hype system
  • Fixed calendar day modifiers based on the old Hype system
  • Fixed fans not coming back when party is automated
  • Fixed Party Hard 2 keys being given away to first 3 people to leave the "Bug 69" comment right under this announcement

We are here for the quick one: the game has received a minor, but, nevertheless, very important update.:partydisk:Party Hard Tycoon is now a AlienFX-enabled game that has an integrated lighting effect support. That means Alienware users now can adjust their game to have a better pixel-driven experience.

Yes, we admit, it took us too long to finally fulfill our promise. And we know there are no forgiveness for our sins. Try to accept our sincere apologies for the delay and believe us: reasons for this were pretty valid. Now, enough taking your time away, let's summarize new features Party Hard Tycoon has aquired:

  1. [above] Auto-party. You can automatically re-throw your party to repeat the success and organize another party at the same time. This option is available IF the following requirements are met:
    - you haven't changed your trade, equipment and decor items at a certain venue
    - you haven't changed the theme of the party
    - your party was successful

  2. [above] Restrooms. People drink and eat stuff at your parties, therefore they need to go sometimes. Be sure your guests have access to toilets at all times. Or... see above.

  3. [above] Game over screen. Now redesigned. You are given a rank every time you fail. Rank shown in the screenshot above means you did not do very well...

  4. Smoking areas. Create designated smoking area at your party to avoid complaints from non-smokers.

  5. Littering. Guests leave trash. Clean the place to avoid complaints from... pretty much everyone.

  6. [above] More accurate requirements and mods. Green icons indicate guests' expectations, red icons indicate undesirable circumstances.

  7. Music. It has a bigger impact on your guests. Different equipment will cause different effects that will or won't be suitable for a given party theme.

  8. [above] Updated events. Random party events are more interactive now. Their effects (positive or negative) depends on your decision.

The update is still somewhat raw, so do not hesitate to report all kinds of issues here, on this community's forums, or via the in-game main menu interface. The game is still in early access state, so there will be more updates and fixes in the future.

Hello, PH community!



We are assembling a huge Party Hard Tycoon update for you at present. And cannot help but toss a few spoilers your way. Luckily, these are the kind of spoilers you are not ruthlessly brutalized for. So, let's dance:

  • In general, people will be more precise in expressing their preferences at parties.


  • [above] Toilet rooms will have a purpose. Except for essential processes in all forms of life, these rooms might be providing a base for other acts. Yuck, smells like smoke!

  • [above] You will be able to designate a space of your choice as a smoking area, so noone wines about how bad the smoke smells. (Beware: smoking is harmful to your wallet health)

  • [above] We will add trash that will have to be cleaned up, by you. Why? Because humans are naturally disgusted by garbage and, therefore, will be disappointed by your event. Some people will litter more than others, naturally. Pigs.

  • [above] Each theme will get more accurate requirements. Icons shown in the screenshot above will indicate your visitors' expectations. Green for what they expect, red—for... Cmon, you can see that. Beer for hangover prelude, Cristal for fancy galas, in short.
  • Music will have a bigger impact. A speaker, a piano or a DJ controller will cause different effects that will or will not be suitable for a given party theme.
  • BBQ and campfiring away indoors will not be a good idea anymore.
  • We have received lots of feedback concerning random events that occur during parties. We listened and now plan to add more of them, but with more player involvement and various gameplay mechanics. You'll have to decide whether to bribe a cop or not, is it a clever idea to let a baseball bat-wielding muscle in, or should your guests try the brand new milk/orange cocktail.

Big Update and Upcoming Changes

Hey, folks!

We have just updated Party Hard Tycoon and here is a short list of major changes:

  • Redesigned calendar system
    Colors of days were too confusing for some players, so we rebuilt this system from scratch. Now venues are not locked to certain calendar days. You still control time progression with it and can see some days with events.

    In the next update we will introduce new mechanics regarding locations. We think it will work with the new system just perfectly. We hope it will add more depth to the location management.


  • Pre-party
    Now you can refill your tables with drinks and food before the party.


  • Table refill
    We increased waiter refill speed greatly. Also, now he tends to walk only near the tables and doesn`t wander the venue aimlessly.


  • People AI
    Now party goers will look for fun instead of checking the fun level on their current spot.


  • Interface redesign and fixes

  • Achievements
    This patch should finally fix all major achievement issues. Please, report if you still have some problems.

Upcoming changes


Thanks for your feedback, we are preparing really big changes to the game. They will influence all aspects of the game. Expect new, deeper strategy mechanics, redesigned party goer AI and absolutely new purpose of decor. The new update will come shortly. Please, let us know if you have some ideas you would like to see realized in future updates, we are checking them all!

Worked hard to deliver this hot batch of fixes and new features. There goes the change log (EDITED):

  • we fixed achievements not unlocking
  • we fully fixed the bug when people complained about the lack of music standing in a room full of speakers
  • we fixed the lights efficiency not displaying properly
  • we partially fixed localization
  • we got rid of some resolution problems and added ultrawide 3440x1440 resolution
  • we added gameplay hints
  • we added the possibility to see lights & speakers' effect areas during party:
