Update: Ads

New update containing ads! Yay, everybody loves ads, right?!
There are three ads, one for the DLC, one for "Lootfest" that is my other game here on Steam, and one is "Dwelvers" - made by a friend I share office with.

Also made some small improvements, mostly new particle effects.

Online Multiplayer

Ive changed my mind about this. But I plan to make it a separate mode that is more fitting for online play, this should allow for up to 100 players in a match, each computer can have up to 16 players.

Having a free game with multiplayer makes it a heaven for trolls and cheaters, will probably need to have some 1$ cost to be able to play publicly, otherwise its free with friends only.
-Please comment if you think this extra cost is reasonable.

I will do a beta testing to see if it is fun, if people don't get hooked I will terminate the multiplayer project.

Update - Some Polish

The first update is out!

  • Replaced some text with icons, want to bring down the language barrier.
  • Updated some textures.
  • Fixed a few minor bugs.
  • Added particles to bling characters (Bling DLC only)
  • Nurfed shell weapon to last shorter.
  • More coins will spawn.
  • Added a Zombie DLC, this is for promotional events only, cannot be bought (Goes against my No Gore policy).

Release notes

Party Jousting started as a joke in spring-2014, and quickly became very popular among my friends. The original game was developed in five days. The original art and characters where all made with my iPad, on a boring bus-trip.
I released it on Xbox360, under the game "Failing Bird". It reached number one top selling in Europe, and has been my most 'income gained/time spent' game.

The game has always been a huge success on game conventions, and each time people tell me it is the most fun they ever had with a game (there is a lot of other games that are more fun than mine, I have no delusions about that).

I hope you enjoy it too!
