Hello Heisters!
Another hot day under the Texas Heat. The gang is gearing up for the upcoming heist at a Midland Ranch. Our new friend, Gemma McShay, has brought us some cool new hardware. There are three new and interesting guns on offer as well as something extra for you grenade fans out there.
McShay Weapon Pack
The McShay Weapon Pack is the second DLC in the Midland Bundle. This DLC contains three weapons, which all bring something new and exciting to the table. If you are looking to change up your playstyle or a new trick up your sleeve, look no further. The DLC is packed to the brim with both damage potential and fresh new gameplay.
Weapons: Basilisk 3V Grenade Launcher, SG Versteckt 51D Light Machine Gun, Pronghorn Sniper RifleThe Basilisk 3V is a new grenade launcher for the secondary weapon slot. Pump out grenades with a new Burst Fire mode and saturate the battlefield with rapid explosions. The Pack also gives you access to the ammunition version of the Viper Grenade for all Grenade Launchers. This grenade lets you flood any area with poison gas while keeping you at a comfortable distance.
The SG Versteckt 51D Light Machine Gun is a small and concealable belt-fed LMG. Its smaller frame makes the weapon unsuitable for bipods, but it does allow the weapon to be held like a rifle, to utilize its iron sights instead, or any other sight for that matter. Watch the belt dance as lead flies downrange, it’s an absolute joy to fire.
The Pronghorn Sniper Rifle is not only concealable but it’s also the first sniper rifle for the secondary weapon slot. This bolt action sniper rifle will surely be a great backup weapon for your main sniper rifle, or your brand new bullet hose LMG.

Viper Grenade
But wait, there's more. After downloading this update you will also find a throwable version of the Viper Grenade, and you can unlock this handful of poisonous gas via an achievement.
To unlock the grenade you need to:
[Kill 200 enemies using poison on the OVERKILL difficulty or above, while wearing the Scrubs outfit.]
Once unlocked, it's yours to use at your hearts content. This grenade can only be acquired through this achievement.

We've already released the Midland Bundle, with the Southbound Tailor Pack already available and the McShay Weapon Pack and Midland Ranch Heist on the way. PAYDAY 2: Texas Heat - Southbound Tailor Pack
Hello Heisters!
Today we mark the beginning of a new tale of violent action and well-planned criminal activities for our lovable heisters, Texas Heat rolls in as we bring a brand new DLC offer to you. The Midland Bundle lets you get in early and grab the DLCs right on release at a discounted price. The gang makes their way down to Texas and gears up for a heist under the blazing heat. But first, a trip to the tailor to don new threads to blend in with the more rural parts of the Lone Star State.
Midland Bundle
The Midland Bundle will allow you to buy three DLCs all at once at a fixed reduced price, and you will get immediate access to all the content as it releases. There is no need to wait until after all three DLCs have been released. This bundle contains the Southbound Tailor Pack, which is available now, and two other DLCs, the McShay Weapon Pack and the Midland Ranch Heist. They will be released on May 11th and on June 15th respectively. You have the option to purchase the DLCs either separately as they are released or through the bundle at the fixed reduced price.

Southbound Tailor Pack
When wandering the all-American soil of Texas, one would be excused if the first association went to the humble ranch worker. Hard-working men and women that make their livelihood from animal husbandry and agriculture. A straight-shooting bunch that ain’t afraid to get their hands dirty for an honest day's work, a good disguise for our heisters to move around as they plan their next move.
Outfits: ”Trailblazer: Classic”, "Rough Rider: Prestige”, "Trailblazer: Modern”, ”Rough Rider: Prestige”So gear up in your favorite attire and strap a big iron on your hip as you get the lay of the land preparing for what’s to come. The “Trailblazer” brings the classic shirt and jacket look with strong denim pants. The “Rough Rider” replaces the jacket with a stylish vest and tough leather linings on the pants. Each outfit comes in four color variants.
Cowboy Hats: “Open Plain”, ”Triggerman”, “El Capitan”, “Lone Star”
Baseball Caps: “Speedway”, “Don't Mess With Texas”, “Blood Money”
Will you pair them with a cowboy hat in one of four color variants, or does a baseball cap in one of three variants fall more in your favor? Complete the look with some riding gloves or if you prefer a pair of Hi-Vis work gloves.

As mentioned in a previous announcement we are adding another fan-designed suit to the game. This time it’s the “Dive Bomber”, a badass suit in the style of a fighter pilot. Put on the cozy Overkill embroidered jacket and you’ll be the bomb on the battlefield.
The “Dive Bomber” was designed by Milo S for the 10 year anniversary of the PAYDAY franchise.
Just like the previous suits, this suit is available for free to everyone who is part of the PAYDAY 2 community group on Steam.

Meta Changes
We worked on the weapon balance for akimbo and single SMGs, targeting primarily the weapon least favored by players today. We’ve not only looked at the DPS of the weapon but also at the mods available to some of the weapons. With these changes, we want to close the gap between the least used and the most used akimbo SMGs and make the former more viable as an option when building your loadout.

Upcoming changes to the Texas Heat DLC campaign!
Hello Heisters!
We’ve heard you! By public request, we’re changing how we’re packaging PAYDAY 2 DLC for the Texas Heat campaign! Similar to what we did with Silk Road in 2020, we will let you buy the DLC’s upfront at a reduced price.
So how exactly is this going to work? The bundle will be released first, alongside one DLC. The following DLCs will then be added later for anyone who owns the bundle and also released separately as we did during City of Gold. We are doing it this way to give our teams the time they need to work stress-free on delivering quality content, while also providing you all with the discounted option you have been asking for.
Keep in mind, if you purchase any of the DLCs separately, you’ll be unable to purchase the bundle afterwards as these bundles will not be able to adapt their price to what you already own.
The first bundle will be available in mid-April, keep an eye out for more information about the bundle contents on the day of release. We will also be hosting an AMA on the r/paydaytheheist subreddit on the 22nd of April to give you a chance to ask us questions, whether it’s about this new bundle system or anything else on your mind surrounding PAYDAY.
