People Cu3ed Christmas Update

Get ready to squeeze your baubles!

We've released version 1.1 of People Cu3ed, and to help you enjoy this magical time of year, we've also included a free re-skin of the game that has a distinctly 'Christmassy' feel! We're also putting People Cu3ed on Sale to celebrate (beginning on the 8th December) - hurrah!

On opening the game, on the main menu you should see a prominent button to the side of the previous options inviting you to 'Activate Christmas Mode' - we invite you to push it, and let the snow covered fun begin!

In the update, as well as the optional re-skin, we've included some lighting and performance updates, including dramatically shrinking the amount of space the game takes up on your computer (but not the amount of time it will take you to complete it!) We've also fixed a couple of minor bugs we found as well - if you do spot any we've missed, as always - let us know - and we'll be on them ASAP with the bug spray!

We hope you enjoy People Cu3ed and it's new Christmas mode, and as always: Happy Gaming!

1.03 Update

Hi All,

Update 1.03 is now live. Changes in this update:

· Performance improvements on lower end systems.

· Handling improvements on most levels.

· Bug fixes:

o Stopping the cu3es escaping in the corners of the levels.
o Eliminating the audio spikes on finishing some levels (on some set-ups).
o Removal of the bug where there is a remote chance of dying and finishing a level at the same time on some levels.

Keep talking with us – we love to hear from you – and of course:

Happy Gaming!

Annnnd we're back...

Hopefully this will be the last time we have to post an update on this!

The mysterious disappearing 'buy' button is now back, and we're assured by Valve that it's now here to stay (they've applied extra sticky super glue or something technical like that...!)

Unfortunately we did learn that whilst the game was on sale for a brief time between Sunday the 4th PM and Monday the 5th PM, in total since release, at the time of writing People Cu3ed has been for sale for less than 24 hours.

Given that we released around 05:00 AM on Friday the 2nd - this is pretty disastrous, and we're really sorry to all of you who've tried to buy the game over the last few days and haven't been able to. As we said in a slightly tongue in cheek way earlier - we're assured by Valve it won't happen again, and we're optimistic about that.

To try to make up for lost time, we're asking that all of you who have tried People Cu3ed please leave us a review on Steam and over on Metacritic as well if possible as it will really help get the attention we unfortunately missed out on over the last week. Anything you can do to help spread the word would be greatly appreciated!

Steam Store Problems (Again)

Hello All,

Hopefully you'll see this update as you pass through the store looking at People Cu3ed. For the second time since our launch on Friday the buy button has gone walk-abouts from our page on the Steam store.

This is a Steam side issue, and unfortunately there isn't anything we can do about it on our side. The issue is logged with Valve, and they have fixed it once before so hopefully they will again soon.

In the mean time - please consider adding People Cu3ed to your wishlist instead of purchasing now, and check back in 24 hours or so when hopefully Steam will be back up.

Happy Gaming (even if it's not on our game!) :)

Update 1.02 - People Cu3ed

Hello All,

Just a small update this evening, as part of our continuing efforts to make People Cu3ed as much fun as it can be!

- Improved collision detection on levels 19, 4, 13 and 14.
- Re-worked audio levels on level 13.
- Altered difficulty on level 13 based on user feedback.
- Fixed a bug on level 13 where by a player could complete the level having gone back out to the chasm to rescue a block and get stuck outside themselves.

As always - enjoy - come speak to our small but friendly team - and:

Happy Gaming!

People Cu3ed is now for sale (actual for sale this time...!)

As some of you know, several titles this weekend have been impacted by a bug in the Steam store removing the 'buy' button. Valve have kindly now fixed our store page, and you can actually now go and buy 'People Cu3ed'!

Thanks to all of our (potential) customers who have stuck with us through what has been a painful weekend - you won't regret downloading the game!

Happy Gaming!

Update 1.01 - People Cu3ed

Hello Everybody!

Whilst Steam's issues continue (help us Valve - you're our only hope!) and you still can't buy People Cu3ed (along with many other titles), we've still been busy making the game better.

We've just pushed out version 1.01 - which includes the following fixes:

- Certain set-ups were experiencing audio issues on level 2 and 8. Our update will now bring volume back into the 'normal' range (Becky no longer streams in your ear when you jump on her!)
- Some collisions weren't detected properly on levels 8 and 23 - this has now been fixed.

Keep talking to us - we love to interact, and if you spot an area that is less than perfect - tell us - we want to make sure you enjoy playing People Cu3ed as much as we did making it.

Happy Gaming!

Problem Buying People Cu3ed

There is a major issue with Steam at the moment that has impacted a lot of titles where by the 'buy' button has disappeared from the Steam page. Unfortunately our title is one of those impacted by this - so as of now, thanks for looking our game up, but you can't buy it :(

Please go ahead and add People Cu3ed to your wishlist, and as soon as Valve get Steam working again - you'll be able to buy and play the game.

Release the Cu3es!

We've pushed the button: People Cu3ed is now live and available to download on Steam!

People Cu3ed 1.0 will hopefully bring you many, many hours or hilarious VR gaming - and you'll have as much fun as we had making it.

We're keen to hear as much feedback as possible, as we've said all along - the game is really a product of a large group of people doing a large amount of testing, and if there are things in the 1.0 version our players think could be better - tell us, and providing it's a sensible point - we will most likely include it in the next update (i.e. please don't tell us your balls aren't squidgy enough).

Remember - you can contact us on all the social media by searching for 'Whitway Studios', or we have a old fashioned traditional email account sat in the corner wearing slippers and smoking a pipe at the following address:

Other than that: Happy Gaming!
