PHAGEBORN Public BETA starting on the 30th of January!
The time for the release of Phageborn is nigh! We're beyond excited to announce that we're having a Public BETA which will be starting on the 30th of January! Because of the nature of the Public BETA, everyone is available to participate and everyone is free to talk about the game, make content related to the game, stream it...basically whatever you want to do, you're free to do (except not play it)! :)
The team at Games Revolted will also be streaming the Public BETA starts off via our official Twitch channel so make sure you don't miss embarrasing missplays from our community manager Ivan and pro moves from our seasoned card gamer and game designer Nikša and our creative director Danijel!
We'd also like to invite everyone to join our Discord server where most of our team will be present during the Public BETA to answer all your questions and where you'll be able to report all the potential bugs you might come across!
You can also contact us via all other communication channels where we'd also like to hear all your criticism, kind words, suggestions, feedback and whatever's on your mind!
See you in the Public BETA and in the Early Access!
DISCLAIMER - This page is only for the Public BETA which we made so that everyone can participate without requiring a key. We'd still like to ask you to come to the official Phageborn Steam page and if you'll like what you'll see in the beta, add us to your wishlist!
As you might already know, by now we've had six closed technical beta tests behind us and we just wanted to give you a quick update regarding the progress we've made with them and what's next for us leading up to the Early Access release of the game.
Firstly, we'd like to say that we'll no longer have Closed Beta tests for Phageborn. Now that we've gathered and analysed the data we gained pertaining to the overall performance and game balance, we are ready to completely shift our focus towards the optimizing the game based on that same data we've received from our awesome fanbase.
We're very thankful that we have such an awesome fanbase which helped us immensely through our Closed Technical Beta phase. Because of your suggestions and feedback, coupled with the continuous support we've been receiving, Phageborn will undoubtedly feel like a better and more accomplished experience and because of that no amount of 'thank you's' can express our gratitude!
We'd like to show you a small infographic with some cool info we've gathered over the course of six closed technical beta tests we've had.
WHAT LIES AHEAD
Now that we've reflected on the past, we'd like to outline what's looming on the horizon for Phageborn leading up to the Early Access release on the 30th of January, 2020!
We'd like to announce that Phageborn will be having an open beta sometime before the release where everyone will get the chance to jump in and try out Phageborn for themselves. The open beta will last longer than the closed ones and players will get the chance to get a feel of the progression system of the game.
What better way to spend the cold winter days than with friends and family, battling it out with the favourite faction and Avatar of choice!
The most exciting thing that awaits us in the future and what we can't wait to talk about more is the Reboot Infogamer 2019 expo we'll be attending this year. All I can say now is that it's going to be wild! Since the expo starts on the 12th of November, more info on our activities you definitely won't want to miss will be announced soon!
Make sure to keep a close eye to our social media channels and our Steam page so you don't miss anything Phageborn-related.
See you on the battlefields of Issilith!

Hey everyone,
We are finally ready to make the long overdue announcement of the release date for Phageborn Online Card Game and we are proud to announce it will be entering Early Access on the 30th of January, 2020!
We had to overcome certain unforeseen hurdles that appeared along the way which hindered our plans to release it in the summer timeframe we've originally announced. Since Phageborn Online Card Game is our passion project and a labor of love, there is no hurdle we won't overcome to get it finished at the level of quality we want it to be and to release it for everyone to enjoy!
Now that we've tested out the game and assessed how much time we need for further development and promotion for the game, we are finally ready to announce, with confidence, a concrete and specific release date for Phageborn Online Card Game!
We are very excited to share this info and we would like to say a big 'Thank you' to the entirety of our fanbase for supporting us along the way and for their patience and understanding. The help we received from you by means of your suggestions and bug reports in the Closed Technical Beta tests we've been having for some time now will prove invaluable in our mission to deliver a game you won't want to let go off :)
We won't be resting easy! Expect a lot more exciting surprises such as tournaments, prizes and events as we'll be nearing the release of the game and we'll also be having an open beta for the game which will run longer than the Closed Beta tests we are having. The next couple of months will be a real treat for the old and new Phageborn fans!
2V2 BETA PRIZE CONTEST - WIN A COPY OF PHAGEBORN ONLINE CARD GAME
Hey everyone!
Here at the studio, we're very excited that we'll finally get the chance play some 2v2 with you guys next weekend, on the 12th and 13th of October.
That's why we wanted to additionally celebrate the occasion with a contest that will reward your meticulous deckbuilding efforts!
WHAT KIND OF CONTEST? WHAT'S THE PRIZE?
We love it when we see our fans post carefully crafted decklists on our Discord server, alongside an explanatory description with the pros and cons of it. We would love to see more of that and what better time to have a contest like this than next weekend's 2v2 beta.
That's why we decided to reward three of the best Phageborn players and their decks with a copy of Phageborn Online Card Game once it enters Early Access!
THAT'S COOL! WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO WIN?
1. Join our Official Phageborn Discord server: https://discord.gg/WKHXBWM 2. Play the 2v2 beta and familiarize yourself with the game 3. Once you're convinced you've created a mighty and well rounded deck, go to the #deckbuilding channel on the server 4. Once there, post a screenshot of your deck with the Avatar your using and write a description of your deck (what kind of deck is it, for which playstyle, its pros and cons, etc...)
Example:
WAIT, WHO DECIDES WHICH DECKLIST IS THE BEST?!
Our three person commitee comprised of game designers and other developers from our studio will determine the top three decklists. They'll review all of the entries and reach a consensus on the names of those which will be rewarded with a free copy of the game and whose names will be sang all across the ruined world of Issilith!
WHEN CAN I POST MY DECK AND WHEN CAN WE EXPECT THE RESULTS?
All decklists posted during the 2v2 beta will be eligible for winning the prize! We'll announce the winners on monday (14th of October). _____________________________________________________
That's all there is to it. Sign up for the 2v2 beta here: http://eepurl.com/gl3qfr and if you need more information on it, check out the announcement post here.

WHEN IS IT TAKING PLACE
The 2v2 beta will be taking place on the 12th and 13th of October, starting at:
10:00 am CEST 08:00 am GMT 04:00 am ET 01:00 am PT

THE IMPORTANCE OF YOUR FEEDBACK
For Phageborn to be the best it can, we need your assistance! When you'll encounter a bug when playing, make sure to hit that "Report a bug" button because it helps us greatly with identifying what went wrong so that we can efficiently do some bug extermination! You are also welcome to join our Phageborn Beta Server on Discord so you can tell us your thoughts on the game and leave your suggestions and constructive feedback!
FINAL WORDS Erm...nothing special in fact :) Apply for the beta, invite your friends to apply and make sure to set aside time for some Phageborn 2v2 action!
