  • Fix: Fixed a crash where scrolling with the gamepad in the settings would cause explosions and mass devastation. :(

  • Change: Collection and Settings scrollbar now has a bit of deadzone when using gamepad analog.
  • Change: XP cans setting has been reverted to 1 for everyone. Because this setting was in the game prior to the Contamination update, and then reintroduced, there was a lot of people who had the option disabled prior, forgot about it and then suddenly had performance issues unsure what had changed. This is just to put everyone back to what they'd expect, and everyone who wants it off can just turn it off again.
  • Change: Skill Loadouts will now tell you how many skillpoints were invested into it, and also warn you if you have less than that amount, so you don't ruin your loadouts when prestiging.
  • Change: Optimization pass on XP cans.
  • Fix: Fixed an issue where Ban #10 wouldn't be saved when changing loadouts.
  • Fix: Psycho Helmet didn't properly scale with GameSpeed.
  • Fix: Beating a run with 0 upgrades chosen used to result in the collection returning a ???, but now it properly shows 0. For that one insane person.
  • Fix: When IVBag overheal is enabled, minimum HP is clapped to 0 to make Doom Delay interactions more consistent.
  • Nerf: IVBag overheal time, 30 * VERSION > 20 * VERSION.
  • Buff: Tank Suit retaliation bite damage increased, HP*4 > 50 + (HP*4).
  • Buff: Tank Suit retaliation bite knockback increased, 6 > 8.
  • Buff: Worn Suit cooldown adjusted, -50% > -20%.
  • Buff: Absorb Suit instantly absorbs all experience created.
  • Buff: Perfected Suit now has a permanent corrupted Reroll.
  • Nerf: Absorb Suit XP radius reduced, +500% > +300%.
  • Change: Optimized Suit now needs 2x XP to level up, but gets two VERSIONS per upgrade.

Fix: Beating a run with 0 skills equipped would make the collection display a ??? instead of showing the stat.
Fix: Angel Wings, Demon Horns and Plasma Orb all relied on 'nearest x enemy' code which meant that if there was (for example) 15 enemies and you had 30 of the upgrade, 15 would be applied appropriately and then the other 15 would ALL go on the very last instanced enemy. This has been changed to a 'wrap' that wraps back to the very first enemy and spreads them all out evenly, so now they'd ALL be hit by 2 evenly.
Fix: For some reason the very first dialog that Infected Izu is meant to say when you first find them wasn't ever being said! This whole time. Oopsies. It's been reenabled now, but this is the interaction if anyone was curious:


Also, for these next changes, I ran a poll asking if people would prefer if C4 and Shrapnel were more limited but hit harder so they could use it without it inevitably bringing down framerate. People seemed to like the idea, so these are the changes:

Buff: C4 damage increased, 10 + (VERSION) > 40 + (VERSION)
Nerf: C4 explosions count limited to 2 * Version. (So Version 10 can have 20 explosions).
Buff: Shrapnel damage increased, (2 * VERSION) > 25 + (2 * VERSION)
Nerf: Shrapnel count limited to 3 * Version. (So Version 10 can have 30 shards).

I'll be keeping a close eye on the reception to the changes and if you feel they need to be adjusted further, please let me know! Hope everyone has been doing well! <3

  • Change: Doubled the amount of backups the game makes.
  • Change: Halo's description is updated.
  • Change: Catspeak modding API has been reimplemented and you can now mess with it. I left some examples in the game's folder. Special thanks to Katsaii and TabularElf for creating Catspeak and GMLspeak respectively. Since this is still early, some changes might happen in the coming days that requires you to rewrite your code.
  • Change: Made Halo shields regenerate 3x faster after a boss kill.

  • Buff: Made Flamethrower flame hitboxes bigger again.

  • Change: Centas can no longer pass through wormholes, due to issues with their bound spinning bullets flying super duper fast. I might fix this later, but for now, consider it a funny quirk about the centas. hehe :)
  • Change: Even more themes were added to the 'randomize song' pool.
  • Change: After 50 Mortality, even more songs are added to the pool.
  • Change: Defense Turrets will now individually randomly choose if they should defend you or if they should shoot the enemy nearest to them. Effectively doing both about 50% of the time.
  • Change: In the collection, if you've surpassed 25 Mortality, the newer basic enemy sprites will show.
  • Change: Thanks to CryptixDT in the Discord: Optimizations have been made to the Core and how it calculates damage when a high amount of them are equipped.
  • Fix: Fixed a bug where flawlessing the Biker wouldn't give you the requirements to see the alternate Beach ending. So if you were going for that ending/achievement, this is the reason why! Sorry for the pain. :(
  • Fix: Fixed an issue where the Worm boss would go invisible behind the background if you went far enough from 0,0. ( I hope, tell me if you have this happen again )
