The first new update in Piercing Blow for year 2016 will be available from Jan 13. The update includes new skins that will make you look like a navy soldier from 16th century and parts equipment.
Also here is the list that patch has been applied. -The pop up message when you enter the clan channel as a mercenary has been modified. - The sound effect when entering the clan channel as mercenary has been modified. - The introduction string from lvl 10 skill has been modified.

Quest Guide
This guide has been created to help players who are not yet familiar with “Quest” in Piercing Blow.
The major purpose of Quest is to help players to enjoy Piercing Blow double time by giving them challenge and achievement. By completing given quests, the player will be able to achieve faster leveling and stock some points and items. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to complete them if you just started to play Piercing Blow.
Available Quest.
To check available quest, click “My Info” located on upper right corner of lobby display. A new popup will show than click “Quest” button to see what is currently available.
Quest Guide
Piercing Blow has three types of quest divided by their condition to complete and rewards after the completion.
1. Achievement Primary quest that is followed by the upmost valuable item. All Achievement quests has up to 4 levels of difficulties, and once a player complete the quest, the player cannot repeat the same.
2. Daily Daily Quest is the quest that changes on a daily base. Once the player finish the quest, a different quest will be available on the next day.
3. Event Event Quest is the quest that is available only on the specific period. The detail information including, the condition to complete and rewards are going to be available on the Event notice.
Quest Tracking
Because there are too many quests available in Piercing Blow, some argues that it is hard to track the progress. For those who is having hard time tracking them we recommend them to use “Tracking Option.” To enable the option, select the quest you want to complete, and mark the box located on left bottom of the quest icon.
Once the option is activate, the progression will be shown during your game play, and when the condition has been met, the tracked quest will be marked automatically.

For player who plays Piercing Blow for the first time, the game’s UI may not be familiar. To minimize the struggle they might have, we are posting a simple guide of Piercing Blow Interface. In the first session, you will learn about the inventory use.
In Piercing Blow, efficient and practical equipment is very essential to take higher ground in the match, so it is very important to know how to use and maximize the function of the inventory menu.
The most basic and the most important feature of the inventory is storage. All your weapons and items that has been purchased or achieved will be stored in your inventory. If you like to observe what item you have, you can simply go to inventory menu at the lobby by clicking “inventory” tab. The tab is located on upper side of the display next to shop tab, so it won’t be very hard to find them.
This is the location where the inventory tab is.
Once you enter the inventory, you will find very identical interface from SHOP menu. In here, all the items that have been gathered or purchased are stored and assorted. For players’ convenience, all items are assorted into four sections that includes Weapon, Character, Parts, and Item, by their major purpose and usage. The even more detailed categorization is also available in the each section. For example, in weapon section all weapons are sorted into Primary, Secondary, Melee, Explosive, and Special. Therefore, players won’t have to search everywhere to locate the weapon they want to equip.
Detailed categorization is also available for each section in the inventory.
There is no doubt that player’s control and tactics are the most important key to win the match, but equipping the right weapon in the right place is identically important as well. Therefore, you need to know what they are capable of, and to know them well, you may want to read item profile.
If you pick any item in inventory, it gives you the information of the selected item at the very bottom of the menu. In PB we call it “item profile”. For weapon, it shows you the basic stat of the weapon including damage, bullet capacity, recoil, and etc. If the selected item is parts, it shows you what effect it gives you on the battle ground, and for function item, it will explains about the function when it is used. By using this feature you can compare and decide which item will be the most efficient to use for the match you are going to join. This feature was deliberately created to help and support players, so the player can wisely and efficiently combine the set of equipment, so now since you have learn how to inspect the item, now it is time you to equip them.
By simply clicking the “Equip” Button in the inventory menu, you will be able to use and equip the selected item, and if the item is equipped, the equipment will be applied to the character demonstration located next to the inventory storage. Only one item can be equipped for each part at a time, so it means you cannot equip two primary weapons or two upper body parts simultaneously. However the effect of parts equipment and skin can be duplicated.
Once the item is equipped, it will be applied to your Character display automatically.
In order to equip “NOT USED” item, you need to verify that you are using the equipment before the item to be equipped. Once the confirmation is complete, you will be able to use the item, and from that moment the validation will start to decrease. Therefore, make sure that you are confirming the correct weapon.

Once you find it, click it. It will lead you to the registration page where you can register your team.
