Piratopia: Raiders of Pirate Bay is going live on Kickstarter!
We are excited to announce that Piratopia: Raiders of Pirate Bay (fondly known as Piratopia 2.0), will launch on Kickstarter later this month!
Get ready to chart a course across the open seas, discover new lands, friends and enemies, while writing your own legend as the fiercest pirate.
Here's what you can expect from the new game: 1) A bigger and more exciting world, with diverse biomes, quest lines, and treacherous new enemies.
2) New ship classes and gearing/weapon systems, so you can strategize and experience the game in new ways.
3) More complex systems, including recruitable NPCs, team dungeons, new PVP modes, and more.

P99 Plays: Piratopia w Adi
Ahoy Mateys! Get ready to set sail on an epic adventure as Project99 and Adi embark on a journey through the high seas of Piratopia.
Join us on Steam Broadcast and on Discord on 10th Feb at 4PM (UTC) as we start at level 1 and grind our way to the top before we enter the PvP Battle Arena and fight it out.
This live stream will feature a free-for-all PvP battle between the P99 team and Piratopia Developer himself- Adi Zhavo. Whether you want to sabotage us or lend a hand, all players are welcome to join the battle.

Dev Update 2: Beware of what lurks under the ocean!
Arrr!
The Seadevil has been spotted roaming the ocean! Stalking the seas, this colossal predator charges through the waters leaving destruction in its wake. Sighted by few and survived by fewer, tales of its wrath serve as a warning to all who would dare challenge its rule. Beware, for those who choose to cross its path must surely have a death wish. I wouldn't wanna go near him...
While the Seadevil lurks on the ocean floor, it is not the only threat that captains will need to beware of! The seas have grown rough, and danger looms on the horizon! So hoist the sails, man the cannons, and set forth into the vast beyond!
Ahoy, me hearties! Project 99 here. Our first peek into Piratopia 2.0 was met with great enthusiasm, and this gives us great encouragement as we forge ahead with finding ways to make this pirate dream a reality! Join our community on Discord for more events and other exciting updates!

"The Supremacy": Exclusive Ship Skin Giveaway on our Discord Channel
Attention all Pirates! As we navigate the ongoing clan wars and Piratopia 2.0, we have an exciting activity for you.
If we hit 5000 members on our Discord channel by 24th February 2023 (GMT+8), we will be rewarding everyone on the P99 server with an exclusive ship skin!
Time to hoist your flags and invite your Scallywag friends!
And that's not all, the largest clan will also be awarded with an additional treasure chest filled with in-game goodies. So, set sail and gather your crew!
May we all sail to Supremacy together!

“All Hands on Deck: The Clan Challenge" will be your first quest. Clan Leaders must round up their crew to compete for treasure and glory.
Aspiring Clan Leaders must submit their Clan name by 23:59 GMT+8 on January 26th, 2023. through our DISCORD. We'll be creating channels for each submission, so if ye can't find your Clan name on the list, reach out to the admins by 14:00 GMT on January 27th, 2023.
Rally at least 10 Clan members to join your assigned channel by 23:59 GMT+8 on January 29th to complete this challenge.
Clans that manage to complete both steps above will get to reserve their clan name for Piratopia 2.0’s launch.
Keep in mind:
- Clan names will be unique and reserved for this event on a first-come-first-served basis. - Clan names will be released if clan leaders are unable to rally enough members by the end of this challenge. - We reserve the right to reject offensive names, so please be nice!
Interested seadogs will need to join our DISCORD to qualify for a clan.
More information will be going out on a weekly basis, so keep an eye out for updates and prepare yourselves for the adventure of a lifetime.

Dev Update 1: Charting new waters in Piratopia 2.0!
Ahoy Mateys!
We’re thrilled to haul out a bit of what we have been plundering and want to give you a taste of some of our creations thus far in 2022! We know your thirst for new treasures and adventures is strong, and we want to thank everyone for being so supportive and patient with us. Your trust in our pirating ways will be well rewarded! Now let us get into some updates that will include several new features that we know you will love.
New Ship Classes
With a new class-based system, you can choose to play as the Dreadnought, the imposing figure in any fleet, the Destroyer, designed to deliver massive damage with its vast array of weaponry, or the Cruiser, outmaneuvering the enemies and delivering quick successions of hit-and-run tactics.
Players will now have a wider range of strategies and play styles to choose from which will open up new opportunities for them to take on new challenges and enjoy the game in new ways.
The Crew System
Get your rum ready, they are thirsty!
Players will come across various crewmates they can recruit throughout the game. By recruiting them to your ship, players will be able to access new passive and active abilities that will boost different ship skills and change the playstyle.
Players can customize their builds with the abilities that they unlock, creating a more personalized and immersive experience. Players will be able to mix and match crewmates to create a unique and powerful crew, and set out to conquer the seas.
UI Overhaul
Players will find a cleaner and more intuitive layout, making navigating the game easier and accessing all the features they need. We have also included new tooltips and tutorials to help new players get started. Here are some snippets of what you can expect...

In other news, we have also migrated Piratopia’s server! This means we need you to move your scurvy bottoms and try your best to CRASH THAT SERVER.
Every pirate who participates will be given a new discord title. More updates to come about the stress test in the coming week so stay tuned to it!
