We hope you had a joyous and exciting Lunar New Year, with that said we are now bringing the festivities to a close. The following changes will take place tonight at 12 am (Pacific Time):
Event Adjustments：
- Closing all Lunar New Year events
**Players will still be able to exchange items with remaining Red Packets at their New Year Goblin trading center.
BUG Fix:
- Fixed a bug where the mount “lantern dragon” can be destroyed like an item.

In order to provide a better game experiences for our fellow explorers, we have decided to make
the following changes tonight at 12 am (Pacific Time) to our Lunar New Year Patch:
Event Changes
1. Adding solo mode to the Bull Demon King Challenge:
- A player holding a Dragon Head Lantern can enter the challenge with up to 3 players and 7 creatures.
- Players can only challenge once per day.
2. Reward Fixes:
- 100% chance to drop TWO Lantern Dragon (Single Seat)
- A small chance to dropping an additional Lantern Dragon (Single Seat)
3. An increase in Nian Beast spawn rate.
Patch 1.118 - Lunar New Year 2021 Patch
Hey Explorers!
Lunar New Year is just around the corner! The Lunar New Year Patch is dropping tonight, 02/03 at 12:00 AM PT. It’s the Year of the Ox, and the Bull Demon King has long awaited for this moment to make his appearance in the world of PixARK. It is only around this time that daring Explorers may summon the Bull Demon King and battle him in a test of skill and bravery! Great rewards and great fortune await those powerful enough to defeat him!
The Lantern Dragon has made its way here for the Lunar New Year festivities as well! Players can obtain one by defeating the Bull Demon King, or build their very own by collecting pieces of the Dragon Lantern! Lantern Dragons come in many sizes - see if you and your friends can build a 5-seat Lantern Dragon for the ultimate ride! As a symbol of people’s aspirations for a better life in the new year, the Lantern Dragon and its pieces are also valuable against the nefarious Bull Demon King!
What’s a celebration without glitz and glamor? A new Chainmail Set, Lance weapon, 8 additional structure colors are now available for all your Lunar New Year cosmetic needs! Returning are also some of last year’s Lunar New Year events! Don’t miss out on the Lunar New Year dishes - eat up for a full stomach and a variety of buffs!

New Creatures
New Challenge: Bull Demon King
In mythology, the Bull Demon King is so powerful that he is said to be able to travel between heaven and hell, move mountains, and calm storming seas. Even the Adepti cannot do anything about him. In the Pixark world, he is the King of Minotaurs, with strength exceeding far more than its kind. The Bull Demon King’s only weakness seems to be special creatures such as the resilient Dragon Lanterns. Damage dealt by the Bull Demon King to the Dragon Lantern’s Head/Body/Tail, and players carrying a Dragon Lantern Head/Body/Tail is significantly reduced.
- The Bull Demon King is powerful, brave Explorers can take on the challenge by performing the traditional Chinese "Dragon Lantern Dance"
- Players can obtain Dragon Lantern Head/Body/Tail by defeating Nian Beasts at Novice Grassland, Grassland, Dawn Island and Woodland.
- Players can initiate the Bull Demon Challenge at the Dragon Lantern Stand.
Rules:
- Players will need to raise different types of Dragon Lanterns in a “Head-Body-Tail” order to initiate the Challenge.
- Only the player holding the Dragon Head Lantern can initiate the challenge.
- The first and the final position have to be “Head” and “Tail” respectively. However, there can be up to 5 players holding “Body” in between.
Challenge Requirements:
- At least lv90 to initiate the challenge.
- Challenge can be done once per day.
- 3 players holding “Head-Body-Tail” will allow a total of 5 players and 8 creatures into the challenge.
- 5 players holding “Head-Body-Body-Body-Tail” will allow a total of 8 players and 13 creatures into the challenge.
- 7 players holding “Head-Body-Body-Body-Body-Body-Tail” will allow a total of 12 players and 19 creatures into the challenge.
Rewards:
- Lantern Dragon (Single Seat) at 100% chance, and another one at a small chance.
- Red Tassel Gold Lance at a small chance
- 50-100 Red Packets
- Chainmail avatar pieces at a small chance.
Boss Skills:
- Max Strike: An axe strike from above, lowers the speed of enemies. (Dragon Lantern Head/Body/Tail and players carrying a Dragon Lantern Head/Body/Tail will not be affected by the speed debuff)
- Pierce: Pierces enemies with the end of the axe, causes a bleeding effect. (Dragon Lantern Head/Body/Tail and players carrying a Dragon Lantern Head/Body/Tail will not be affected by the bleed debuff)
- Whirlwind: Spinning attack that hits enemies within range, inflicts an armor reduction effect. (Dragon Lantern Head/Body/Tail and players carrying a Dragon Lantern Head/Body/Tail will not be affected by the armor reduction debuff)
- War Stomp: Stomping initiates a shockwave that lowers the melee attack of all enemies nearby. (Dragon Lantern Head/Body/Tail and players carrying a Dragon Lantern Head/Body/Tail will not be affected by the debuff)
- Boshosen: Blows enemies and knocks them back. Also increases the debuff effects of Whirlwind and War Stomp
- War Cry: Raises its attack damage, defense and attack speed. Applies additional effects on other skills:
- lowers Max Strike and Pierce cooldown
- Raises Whirlwind attack damage.
- Raises attack damage and range of the War Stomp
- Raises the range of Bashosen
- lowers Max Strike and Pierce cooldown

- Defeating Nian Beast will drop Dragon Lantern parts (Head/Body/Tail) at 20% chance.
- Dragon Head Lantern: Players can raise the Dragon Head Lantern to deal damage to the Bull Demon King. (Expires in 6 hours)
- Dragon Body Lantern: Players can raise the Dragon Body Lantern to shield themselves. (Expires in 3 hours)
- Dragon Tail Lantern: Players can raise the Dragon Tail lantern to remove all buffs on Bull Demon King. (Expires in 3 hours)
New Mount: Lantern Dragon
In China, lanterns are indispensable objects for festivals, and the flying Kong Ming lanterns are a symbol of people's aspiration for a better life. Now for the first time in Pixark, players can build their Lantern Dragon with lanterns and enjoy a ride with friends!
Lantern Dragon can have up to 5 seats as you put more parts in!
- Lantern Dragon（Single seat): can be obtained from defeating the Bull Demon King at a small chance.
- Lantern Dragon（Double seat): can be obtained from combining two Lantern Dragon（Single seat）at tailor’s workbench.
- Lantern Dragon（Triple seat): can be obtained from combining two Lantern Dragon（Double seat）at tailor’s workbench.
- Lantern Dragon（Quadra seat): can be obtained from combining two Lantern Dragon（Triple seat）at tailor’s workbench.
- Lantern Dragon（Penta seat): can be obtained from combining two Lantern Dragon（Quadra seat）at tailor’s workbench.
Old Lunar New Year Events Are Back!
Boss: Flame Demon
- Spawn rate is 50% at the Death Lord Altar in PixARK map and 50% at the Burial Ground Altar in Skyward map.
- Rewards: Gargoyle Skin (5% drop rate)
Lunar New Year Supply Drop
- Supply Beacon will change its shape to a Chinese Lucky Bag, containing our Lunar New Year gift for explorers.
- Rewards: Spring Festival dishes (restores Food and HP), Spring Festival Fireworks, New Year Goblin Trading Center, Red Packets.
Lunar New Year Reunion Party
Placing different Lunar New Year dishes on the table will grant different buffs to the player, along with new year greetings.
God of Wealth Hat
Players can obtain God of Wealth Hat at a small chance by defeating creatures that wearing it (Cosmetic for tamed creatures)
Nian Beasts are Back!
- Nian Beasts will be spawning in Novice Grassland, Grassland, Dawn Island and Woodland.
- Can only be defeated by the Firecrackers players crafted.
- Rewards: Lunar New Year Dishes, Spring Festival Decors and blueprints, Red Packets.
Double Harvest Rates on Mining!

PixARK Christmas Patch 1.115
Dear Explorers!
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas! The end of the year is upon us, let’s take a look at what we have for the Holidays this year!
The patch is scheduled to go live tonight, 12/18 at 12 am Pacific Time. The servers will be taken down for a couple of hours during the maintenance.
New Boss:
Snow Devil
The legend has it that the horrifying Snow Devil was born in the land of sheer cold. The perpetual blizzard grants it endless power, allowing it to cast many powerful spells.
Skills:
- Snowball:Activating blizzard energy and firing a gigantic snowball from its chest to attack the enemy from a long distance, dealing damage, and lowering enemy speed and cold resistance.
- Blizzard:Rotating its body and releasing a snow tornado to attack enemies, dealing damage, and lowering enemy speed and cold resistance.
- Snow Pillar:Summoning a snow pillar to attack enemies on the ground.
- One-Punch Devil:Gathering energy to its right fist and punching enemies afront, dealing damage, and lowering enemy speed and cold resistance.
Special Abilities
- Player’s cold resistance is reduced and heat resistance is increased within 50 meters of Snow Devil. The closer player gets to the Snow Devil, the stronger the effect.
- Snow Devil generates an aura of cold air beneath its foot when its HP is under 50%, dealing damage and lowering speed&cold resistance to enemies who touch it.

- Players can start the challenge by placing “Snow Devil Doll” at the Christmas Fireplace.
- Christmas fireplace can be obtained at Christmas Goblin Trade Center with 200 Christmas tokens.
- Snow Devil Doll have a chance of droppingn from Christmas gift boxes.

Decorating the tree with Christmas Dolls in five unique colors, will gift players with the Christmas Blessing and a Christmas Gift Box.
Christmas Gift Box may contain one or more of the following items:
- Rocking Reindeer
- Christmas Painting

- Snow Devil Doll
Notes:
- Christmas Dolls may be obtained by looting Snowman.
- Christmas Goblin Trade Center can be obtained by looting Goblins wearing a Christmas Hat or from Christmas Supply Drop.

Snowman Fight
Snowmen will spawn in Noviceland, Grassland, Dawn island, and Woodland. Players will need to craft Snowballs to attack the Snowmen, which will drop one or more following items:

- Snowman Figure
- Snowman Costumes
- Christmas Token
Red Hat Creatures
Christmas Red Hats have a small chance of dropping from any creature wearing them. Creatures wearing Christmas Red Hats may also drop Christmas Tokens!

Santa will be riding his Reindeer Sleigh to give away some gifts! Christmas Supply Drop may contain following items:

Christmas Snowy Biomes
A majority of the biomes will be enjoying snowy views. During snowy seasons, some biomes might experience a “Christmas Blizzard”. Explorers digging blizzard snow cubes in Christmas Snowy biomes will have a chance of obtaining Christmas Tokens, Christmas Blizzard Snow Cube and Christmas Candy.

Christmas Hat
Players can get in the Christmas Spirit with these Christmas Hats! They can be purchased from Christmas Goblin Trade Center with 200 Christmas Tokens.

Patch 1.112 - Thanksgiving Event - 2x Ores & 2x Exp!
When could be a better time to show our sincere gratitude to explorers other than Thanksgiving! Thank you so much for your continuing support and love!
The Thanksgiving patch is scheduled to go live on November 20th at 12 am (PDT).

Thanksgiving Event Gameplay
Thanksgiving Banquet
Place six different Thanksgiving dishes on the Thanksgiving Dining Table, and then press E to enjoy the treat and be rewarded with the Thanksgiving Buff. Placing Roasted Turkey right at the center of the Thanksgiving Dining Table will bring something special to Explorers.
Pardoned Turkey Event
In the Noviceland biome, Explorers may find wild Turkeys locked in cages. Players will need to break the cage to free the Turkeys, which will drop Turkey eggs that provide rewards. While freeing the caged Turkeys, explorers have a 10% chance of running into special Pardoned Turkey. Killing the Pardoned Turkey will drop the event item “Turkey Feather,” which can be used to summon Dodorex.
*Pardoned Turkeys have a relatively high HP, and will run away even if they are under attack.
New Creature
Dodorex
In the world of Pixark, even the weakest and humblest beings have dreams of becoming something stronger. And the Dodo, who is bullied by everyone, may become an existence to be feared by everyone. Legend has it that some dodos with exceptional talent were blessed by the ancestors of the dodo family and evolved into the most powerful Dodorex. Of course the legend is just a legend, in fact, people believe that Dodorex may be the descendants of Tyrannosaurus rex genetically modified by aliens. The biggest basis for this idea is that people have not yet found evidence of the existence of wild Dodorex.
-Upon collecting a certain amount of Turkey Feathers, explorers can use them to summon either a Dodorex(Limited-time) or a Dodorex (Permanent) at a cooking pot.
-Tamed Dodorex can bite (LMB) and shoot flames (RMB)
