Wellington Update has launched!


Mechanics!

Prepare your tools and get ready for a long awaited new update! This time we’ve prepared for you something big! We’ve not only squashed over 1000 bugs in existing content, but we’ve also implemented fixes to recently known issues, made some improvements and added new features, including a brand new plane - Vickers Wellington. We’ve decided to change the name from Summer Update to Wellington Update to make the name more suitable to its most important content.

But it’s not the end of changes in Plane Mechanic Simulator! We have decided to bring back some of the features you all loved so much - manual tools, which are available in the Expert Mode and the Clipboard!




About new aircraft: Vickers Wellington is a British two-engine WWII bomber, built at the Vickers-Armstrong plant. It was the primary British long-range night bomber of the first years of war in Great Britain. The designers were Rex K. Pearson and Barnes Wallis. The first mass-produced Wellington Mk I aircraft took off the ground on 23 December 1937 and was manufactured until October 1945.

The update also includes new WW2 stylized UI and full support for Xbox and PlayStation controllers!

Here’s a full list of fixes, changes, and new implementations to Plane Mechanic Simulator:


- new WW2 stylized UI
- full gamepad support
- new plane Vickers Wellington
- over 1000 bug fixes and tweaks to existing content
- expert mode with manual tools for hardcore players
- new hint system
- return of the clipboard

The update launches right now, and we’ve already started working on the new one. We also want to thank you for your suggestions which made us rethink our plans for the game and set the new priorities. Look out for our future announcements, and see you in hangars!
