Patch 1.1 is out: NEW FEATURES!
Steam Patch Notes for 1.1
This is a big one! We’ve got tons of new features for you all!
New Features:
Black Hole Mode: A special new arcade mode that allows you to customize your own dive! Choose what biomes and bosses spawn. Pick your favorite music track and adjust the generation for events, enemies and more! Want to do a boss rush? You can! Want to gently dive in the water biome with barely any enemies? You can! Want to push all sliders to 11 and face your hardest dive yet? You most definitely can!
Camera Slider: You can now adjust how close or far away the camera is in-game. Zoom in if you want to see all the details or zoom out to see as much on the screen as possible!
Button Mapping: That’s right, we heard you loud and clear! You can now map the game controls to your keyboard/mouse or gamepad button of preference.
Game Adjustments:
Goodbye Launcher! The game now opens up immediately for ease of use and access. All the settings it offered are now in-game.
Loki Mission 20’s description has been slightly altered to avoid misunderstandings.
Default Steam Controller layout has been adjusted.
Suit Visuals have been adjusted to be actual diving suits.
Radio Music has been adjusted to thematically fit.
Bug Fixes:
Linux Issue: You can now successfully buy items in the shop if you play the game at smaller, odd resolutions.
Input is no longer read on any planet’s dive comic at the beginning of the first mission.
The Spider Queen no longer gets stuck if you attack her during her dash attack.
Audio settings now update successfully at the start of the game.
Hovering over the in-game timer toggle no longer activates it automatically.
You can no longer toggle through locked planets with the trigger buttons on a gamepad.
Xbox One controller now works successfully on Windows as well as on Mac.*
* Make sure to update to the newest driver for your Xbox One Controller, located in your Device Manager on Windows.
To reiterate, with the previous updates we added the following features amongst various adjustments and bug fixes: Speed Running Mode, GUI Scaler, Music & Sound Sliders, Dialogue & Tutorial Toggles, Black Hole Mode, Camera Slider & Button Mapping.

Steam Patch Notes for 1.0.3
Game Adjustments:
Speed Running timer now scales with the GUI scaler as well.
Added a disclaimer about offline & online leaderboards in the Arcade menus.
Bug Fixes:
Finally fixed a rare bug that disabled input at the start of the dive, requiring a restart.
Inputs are no longer read when the comic for the first mission on a planet is playing.
The Centauri suit now properly displays as “Unlocked” in the shop once unlocked.
The Calypso suit does not show up as “Owned” anymore if you unlocked the Centauri suit.
Queen of the Galaxy Achievement is now tracking the progress correctly.
Distance based Arcade achievements for Calypso & Loki now track progress correctly.
Don’t forget to read our patch notes for 1.0.2 where we introduced a “Speed Running” mode as well as new available settings like a GUI scaler and more.
Expect patch 1.1 in January! It’ll come with some awesome new features and content!

Steam Patch Notes for 1.0.2
New Features:
Speed Running Mode: Each story mission is now timed, compete for the quickest gold star completion! You can toggle a timer on or off in-game.
GUI Scaler: You can now change the scale of the in-game interface to six possible sizes.
Music & Sound Sliders: Goodbye toggles! You can now chose the exact volume of the game music and sounds.
Dialogue & Tutorial Toggle: Don’t want dialogue or tutorials in-game anymore? Turn them off!
We added more settings you can toggle mid dive.
Game Adjustments:
The camera zooms are now much faster during a biome transition.
More detailed example of what the visual effects toggle does in the settings.
The in-game tutorial does not temporarily slow down gameplay anymore.
Spiders are now more saturated to stand out better. Their speed was tuned as well.
Commando Suit now has a rainbow trail.
Disclaimer has been added to the in-game settings.
Bug Fixes:
(Probably) Fixed a bug that occasionally locked out the controls and made it impossible to move Diver.
Biome transitions now override the lava event, it can no longer be active indefinitely.
Diver now appears on the surface.
Loki achievements are now properly tracking.

- Store prices adjusted
- Lava visual fixed on Windows
- Steam Achivement “Galaxy Queen” now completable

- Calypso Mission 25 finish line now fully visible
- Gamepad controllers now work right from the title screen
- Finishing a mission while the screen flashes now successfully pauses the game
- Hitting the confirm button several times on the first mission of each planet doesn't repeatedly trigger the comic anymore
