Takeshi Furukawa, composer for Planet of Lana here. In honor of the gameâs demo release this week, Iâd like to present a preview of the game's original soundtrack:
We recorded the music last summer in Budapest with a 70+ piece orchestra. Additional recordings were done in Los Angeles (piano & guitars) and Tokyo (harp). Iâve also made the scores available for those of you studying music and orchestration. You can see Saki Furuya (orchestrator)âs masterful skills at work.
Everyone at Wishfully and Thuderful has poured their hearts into this wonderful gem. I hope you enjoy the game and music as much as we have creating it.
đ´ Planet of Lana Steam Next Fest: February stream #1 airs today!
Heya friends!
First of all: It's so awesome to see you all playing our Planet of Lana demo - thanks for sharing your time with us! And really we couldn't be happier with the outcome so far. We received so much good and valuable feedback, and also a lot of praise - so from the bottom of our hearts: Thank you all so much! â¤ď¸
And secondly: As already announced, you can watch us (that's Julian and Tim from Thunderful plus myself) play the Planet of Lana demo here in the broadcast on the Steam page later today. Feel free to tune in on 5pm CET / 8am PST and join us, Lana and Mui. We'll talk a bit about Planet of Lana in general, how the idea for the game came about, and much more.

Our Planet of Lana Steam Next Fest: February demo is live AS OF NOW! ËsteamhappyË
Scroll down a little bit on the Steam page and press the big green button that says "Download". After a few minutes you can dive into the world of Planet of Lana with Lana and Mui for the very first time!
Depending on your speed and puzzle solving skills, it will take you between 20-30 minutes to make your way through the demo. The gameplay included in the demo is from the beginning of Planet of Lana, where Lana and Mui meet each other for the first time.
All of you playing the demo here at Steam Next Fest will have the honour of trying out our mouse + keyboard controls for the first time - until now Planet of Lana was only playable with a controller. It would be great if you could give us feedback on the controls, and also generally on our demo, because we are very interested in what you think about the game.

Planet of Lana demo will premiere in the Steam Next Fest: February!

Adam here! It's been a while, right? Sorry for the radio silence, but we made great progress over the last month. And because of that I'm super happy to announce that Planet of Lana will be part of the Steam Next Fest starting on Monday! ËsteamhappyË
Even though Planet of Lana was playable at gamescom last year (it was so good to see you peeps playing!), the Steam Next Fest is an exciting premiere for us: it's the first time you can try the mouse and keyboard controlls, and it's the first time we make the demo available to such an incredibly vast group of players!
And that's why this is extremely exciting for us! We want to hear your opinion about our game of course, because we want to offer the best possible experience with Lana and Mui once Planet of Lana releases this spring.

Planet of Lana launches in Spring 2023, playable demo at gamescom! đŽ
Hey there friends of Lana and Mui,
It's Adam again! A lot has been going on since our latest update in early June, and I have some news for you today - both good and ... less good.
Let's start with the "less good" news: Planet of Lana is shifting from a launch in 2022 to Spring 2023. It has been a passion project for us for a long time, so we want to ensure that when itâs finally available that you are getting it in pristine condition!
So, it's time for the good news now: We are going to attend gamescom 2022 in Cologne next week! Means that you can get your hands on the first ever publicly playable demo of Planet of Lana and dive deeper into our beloved puzzle adventure with both Lana and Mui. You find us at the Thunderful booth Hall 8.1 B-021.

World Premiere: First Planet of Lana Gameplay revealed at Day of the Devs! đ
Hey there friends of Lana and Mui,
my name is Adam, I am the Creative Director at Wishfully. It's so nice to welcome you all here at the Steam page of Planet of Lana for this very special moment that we love to share with all of you out there: We are very excited to finally be able to reveal the gameplay of Planet of Lana! To do it at Day of the Devs for Summer Game Fest no less, is a tremendous honor and we couldnât be more happy to be part of such a fantastic event packed with great games!
In addition to the platforming and sneaky stealth, the core of the game revolves around Lana and her little companion Mui. You can think of Mui kind of like a real life dog that youâre able to give commands to. For instance you can tell her to stay or follow you, and send her up to places you canât reach and into small places you canât fit.
The creatures of Novo react differently to Lana and Mui, and figuring out how to use this to your advantage is a big part of the fun! Mui also has a mystical hypnotic ability that she can use to control animals of Novo that have the same white eyes as her. This opens up a lot of interesting possibilities.
