1. Weapon inventor intro: added a new brief introduction to the weapon inventor at the base. 2. Interaction key: now when you explore you can interact with objects with the F key. 3. Medic role: the medic will increase the medkits that can be used per day, using its knowledge. 4. Mechanic role: repairs robot armor using the welder tool and iron.
Improved:
1. Events effects: the event effects quantities are scaled to the difficulty rating of the planet. Higher difficutly planets require spending more of everything in orded to succeed in your actions.
Fixed:
1. Dash controls: when you pressed the dash button in the keyboard, the explorer always dashed towards the mouse pointer, now it dashes towards the keys you press. Also added right mouse click to dash. 2. Inspection: when the inspection circle filled and then you canceled the inspection, when inspecting back the inspection did not reset and seemed to continue from a random moment. 3. Entities quantity: there was fewer entities per sector than they should have. 4. New items load system: previously any new items included in an update where not available in your saved game, but now I added a new system that will add any new items included in a new updated version of the game to the save file of a previous version, that way you will be able to load your game normally and unlock any new items in the research lab or if there are no resources available to research, it will be enabled in the workshop. 5. Transfer excess: now, when you try to transfer an item to a storage that has reached its allowed maximum, the excess items will be returned to their origin. 6. Cimates images: the climates always looked different when switching screens. 7. Marked enemy job: after loading the game, the job to kill marked enemies crashed the game. 8. Hunger negatives: hunger could make the health go to negative numbers. 9. Moving disabled tooltips: the tooltip on the move robot button did not explain why it was deactivated (due to lack of fuel or robot broken). 10. Broken robot events: when a planet map event repaired the robot, the climates could not make the robot broken anymore. 11. Event window overlapping: when opening other windows, they overlapped with the event window.
Update 76: new jobs + bug fixes.
This is a relatively quick update but with some interesting changes:
New:
1. Targeted alien job: this new type of job asks you to kill a number of aliens that are marked with a target. 2. Visit landmark job: this new type of job asks you walk over a number of landmarks on the map.
Improved:
1. Tooltip position: tooltips no longer appear on top of a button, obstructing your clicks. 2. General Balancing: balanced values of various things like damage, health, etc. to try to make the game just a bit easier and not so punishing at the start of the game. 3. Bankrupt warning: added a color warning when you are close to getting bankrupt.
Fixed:
1. Worskhop tutorial bankrupcy: made the deadline to not advance days so you will not loose any money when the tutorial advances days automatically, that way you cannot get bankrupt in this part of the tutorial.
New update v75
Here are the improvements and bug fixes for his update:
Improved:
1. Weapon tutorials: changed the tutorial a bit to make clearer how weapons work. 2. Weapon tooltips: changed tooltips of some weapons to add clarity. 3. Undiscovered tile: changed the graphic of the tiles that are not discovered to make it more clearer by matching it with how the "weapon box bar" looks. Also added an animation. 4. No armor no fuel news: added news to make it clear when you run out of armor or fuel. 5. No weapon transfer to person: now when you try to directly transfer a weapon from the robot to a person, the weapon will be displayed but it not be possible to transfer. 6. Upper bar days: changed the graphics to show the pass of days.
Fixed:
1. Weapons in robot: when you moved weapons out of the robot, they still appeared in weapon boxes. 2. Discovered tiles: when you entered an already explored sector, discovered tiles where obstructed by fog when they should have been completely visible. 3. Event climates: after an event, the climates kept moving without pausing. 4. Item transfer and tabs: an error appared when trying to transfer items after changing tabs. 5. Weapon invented effects: the effects like freeze or burn of your invented weapons did not get activated. 6. Weapon tooltips: added some missing tooltips for weapons and weapon upgrades. 7. Deliveries: when you tried to deliver items that you had ready in your storage, nothing happened when you pressed the delivery button. 8. Flying enemies and projectiles: some projectiles had no effects on flying enemies. 9. Item manager tab scrollbar: the vertical bar was inverted. 10. Item manager tabs: when switching target with the dropdown the selected tab got reset. 11. Explorer weapon on item manager: the weapons in the explorer's inventory appeared with a value of 0 quantity of that weapon, when it should be at least 1. 12. Day progress clock: the progress of clock in the day was not being saved when you entered and left a sector or saved and loaded the game. 13. Exploration screen stat bars: when there was no explorer assigned, the visual bars where glicthed visually. 14. Jetpack error: when no explorer was assigned, there was an error when the game tried to access the jetpack. 15. Explorer with no role: when the explored died, the explorer role still kept the role assigned to the dead person.
Update v74 big bugs fixed
Improved:
1. Hit flash: added a white flash when hitting enemies. 2. Climates fade: climates are easier to see when they are appearing in a semi transparent state. 3. Limit of maximum value: added a new graphic and tooltip to the maximum value limit of the visual bars. 4. Multiple line Tooltips: added the capacity to display more than 1 line in the tooltips to be able to display longer and more detailed explanations. 5. Terrain effects: speed and damage effects of sector terrains will only increase in sector of higher danger levels. Low danger levels won't have terrain effects so they will be easier.
Fixed:
1. Event window stuck: the event window showed an "accept" button that could not be used so the window never closed. 2. Climates error: when starting a new game after loading a saved game, the game did not load new climates and crashed the game. 3. Symbols depth: resource symbols appeared on top of the event window. 4. Exploration events: events on the exploration screen had errors when closing. 5. Weapon box options: sometimes the options of the weapons box where duplicated. 6. Job sprites: the sprites of the jobs in the planet map did not load correctly. 7. Old save games: when you started a new game in the new version, you restarted the game, and there was an older save game from an older version, the game loaded the older version when it should have just started a new game. 8. Sector reset: when you loaded an older version and after many days a sector got reset, there was a bug where it didn't reset because the game did not load the previously discovered tiles. 9. Duplicate projectiles: sometimes the weapons fired more than they should so the projectiles where duplicated. 10. Invisible enemies: some enemies where invisible. 11. Menu un-pauses: when the main menu closed and a tutorial was running, it un-paused the tutorial when it shouldn't.
New update v73
New:
1. New planet start: when you travel to a new planet, you crash on it causing lots of damages and loosing 60% of your items.
Improved:
1. Jetpack sounds: now there are sounds when using the jetpack. 2. Input click: now you can change the input of quantities not just by typing but by clicking and holding with your mouse. 3. News: now the news appear using symbols and not text. 4. Tutorial: improved some tutorial steps.
Fixed:
1. Base Demo: in the demo, it was impossible to exit the base after entering it. 2. Tutorial buttons: when you pressed a tutorial button, it broke any other tutorial that was active. 3. Tutorial bugs: sometimes the tutorial disabled some tutorial buttons.
New update v72 CODENAME: MONSTERS
The highlight of this update are the new monsters, take a look:
New:
1. Enemies steal: now some enemies steal the explorer resources when they touch him. They drop the stolen resource when you kill them. 2. Jetpack: a new item you can use when you explore a sector to fly to tiles that are far away or behind walls. 3. Missile enemies: a new type of enemy that shoots missiles, marking the landing zone in the floor with a red circle so you can evade them. 4. Wall enemies: worms appear from the floor to form a wall you can destroy. The wall gets bigger as danger level increases. 5. Bull enemies: an enemy that launches itself at the explorer, a warning zone appears so you can evade the attack. 6. Sector reset: after many days after beign visited, a sector will reset itself with new resources and undiscovered tiles. This way you will never run out of resources to build items, or be without weapon boxes to make yourself stronger.
Improved:
1. Enemies collisions: enemies collide with eachother in a more fluid way, allowing them to keep advancing while not getting on top of eachother. This also improves FPS. 2. Fog transitions: now the fog transitions become a darkened version of the tile the partially cover, which is not a high contrast transition anymore. 3. Hives: now you have to destroy a lower quantity of hives to win the planet, so the winning objective is less overwhelming. 4. Tutorial: improved some details in the tutorial. 5. Enemy waves: balanced the enemy waves a bit more.
Fixed:
1. UI symbols: when collecting a resource from a destructable, the UI symbol appeared behind other elements when it should appear on top. 2. Destructables depth: sometimes some destructables appeared behind the limits of the map and could not be seen. 3. Creatures and bullets: after killing a big creature the bullets of some weapons did not move and did not dissapear. 4. Climates on exit: when you exited a sector and a climate touched you, the climate kept hurting the robot even when time was not advancing. 5. Climates after events: when an event finished, the climates started moving when they should have stayed paused until the robot moved. 6. Robot no move events: when an event repaired the robot but you still had no fuel, you could still move the robot even when that should be impossible since you didn't not have fuel. 7. Tooltips out of screen: sometimes tooltips could not be read because they appeared partially outside of the screen. 8. Manage tools: you could not select the "tools" category tab in the inventory managment window. 9. Windows depth: the items manager window and the employee managment window appeared with the wrong depth when both where opened at the same time. 10. Starting sector: sometimes the starting sector had an excessive quantity of resources. 11. Tabs: the upgrade tab in the inventory managment screen was missing.

1. Weapon box capacity: a new robot property that limits the amount of weapon boxes it can give during an exploration run. Having this you have to carefully plan which combination of weapons to carry in your storage to create a successful strategy. 2. Weapon box capacity increase: added an item to increase the maximum weapon box capacity so you can equip even more weapons. 3. Climates: these climates appear on the planet map and are dangerous, your robot needs to evade them to avoid damage, if you get enough damage, your robot gets broken and cannot move. 4. Item: "Climate forecaster", to see how many days are left for a climate to appear and dissappear. 5. Item: "Ambient sensor", to see where the climates has moved from, useful to deduce its next direction. 6. New resources: new vegetals, metals, creature parts, and artifacts. 7. Item: "Reward sensor", to see the reward of each job in the planet map.
Improved:
1. Hives danger: the sectors that have hives have increasing difficulty levels starting with lower difficulty.That way you can start with the hives that are easier, and as you get stronger, you can tackle the harder ones.
Fixed:
1. Game over save file: save file still existed even after a game over, this way you could still keep playing with your old progress even after starting a new game, now the save file gets deleted when you loose the game. 2. Lab bug: sometimes when you quited the game before entering a base for the first time, the game crashed after loading the game and trying to enter a base.

This update fixes a lot of bugs reported by players and adds a few things suggested by player feedback.
IMPORTANT: old save files are not compatible with this new version.
If the game crashes at start, you may have to delete the save file to run the game. You can find the save file here: Go to windows install drive, for example C: C:\Users\*Your user name goes here*\AppData\LocalLow\Christian Ibarra\Planetary Exploration Company\saves
New:
1. Research results: now all items that can be researched will show the result of the research, that way you can make better decitions on what to research next based on what you want or need to build. 2. Incompatible older saves: older save files are incompatible with newer version, so it will be deleted. 3. Tabs: all item lists have new buttons to show items divided by category. Press a tab button next to an item list to show all the items of that selected category.
Improved:
1. Menu window: the menu window also appears on the exploration screen now. Pressing ESC will show this window instead of quiting the game with no warning. 2. Evade keys: now you can also evade by pressing the "space bar" and "left shift". 3. Optional tutorials: when you start a new game, the game will ask you if you want tutorials or not. 4. Damage flash: added a flashing animation when the explorer gets damaged. 5. Inspection UI: the UI indicator that appears when inspecting something is now a circle that fills like a clock. 6. Exploration jobs groups: when completing all exploration jobs, a new set of this type of job will be created in an increasingly bigger area. 7. Exploration jobs distance: at the beginning, the exploration jobs will not be placed so far away from the starting area. 8. 1. Fullscreen: now the game will stretch to fill the screen while maintaining aspect ratio of 16:9. 2. Loading Research window: when you had items being researched and you quited the game, and then loaded the game, when you entered a base the game crashed because it tried to load those researched item in the save data, but couldn't load them because of bugs. 3. Loading bug: after trying to load a saved game, sometimes the game crashed because an error appeared when trying to load the configuration of the attackers of a biome. 4. Text: fixed some tutorials text. 5. UI images: fixed some UI panels that didn't show their background. 6. Tutorials Unlocks: when disabling the tutorial, all things locked by the tutorial will be unlocked, and when the tutorial is enabled, some things will be locked until the appropriate time in the tutorial. 7. Tutorials button: when you pressed the "?" tutorials button after loading a saved game, glitches happened. 8. Tutorials Z depth: some tutorials appeared behind UI elements, when they should appear on top of all UI elements. 9. Sector events activation: story events in the sector exploration screen did not activate. 10. Story events UI: the UI elements of the story events window didn't show correctly. 11. Creature inspection: when the explorer inspected a creature, it did not show its properties and actions. 12. Events on radar: the events of the exploration screen did not appear in the radar. 13. Weapons max number: when taking a weapon in the exploration screen, inside the inventory panel, the max number of the item shows that you can only take a maximum of 1. 14. Exploration jobs: exploration jobs of sectors could not be completed, now those jobs can be completed. 15. Exploration run: when you completed a full exploration job run, it didn't create a new group of exploration jobs. 16. Micro enemies damage: micro enemies did not attack the explorer when they touched him. 17. Tutorial Button: pressing a button to activate a tutorial also activated the default beginner tutorial, when it shouldn't. 18. Equipped weapons on load: when loading a game, the previously equipped weapons didn't get automatically equipped so they couldn't be used. 19. Invented weapons on load: your invented weapons didn't behave correctly after loading a saved game. 20. Micro enemies targeted: some weapons couldn't target micro enemies so they didn't attack them. 21. Click through windows: in some windows, you could click buttons that where hidden by the windows on top. 22. Windows depth: sometimes some windows appeared behind other windows when they should appear on top. 23. Sound and tooltip manager duplication: sometimes these managers got duplicated many times, consuming extra computing resources and memory. 24. Tutorial Explorer death crash: when the explorer died in the tutorial, you could not restart the game. 25. Tutorial buttons: when you pressed a yellow tutorial button, sometimes the tutorial didn't appear. 26. Lab item: when cliking on an item to research it, sometimes that item didn't dissapear after clicking it, so you could prepare to research it many times.

I just released the game's early access version, its now available for purchase!. Remember the only difference with the demo is that the full version has save game functionality, it automatically saves the game when you exit a base, or the planet map.
