I am currently bundling up with another game that just released in Early Access called Chill Town! I think Chill Town could be something you would like if you enjoy wholesome gardening games like Plantera 2!

Update 1.1.7
Hi everybody! ːPhhelperː
Another update is out! ːPduckː
Among some tweaks and adjustments the most notable change is an update in the engine that should improve performance a bit for some people and especially where the game ran progressively slower over time as it was left open. There was some objects in previous builds (mainly golden acorns that could "fall off the stage" with enough velocity as they hit the ground at high speed and water drips left behind by fish on the ground) that did not get cleared out properly and made it so the total object count progressively increased as the minutes went by. This "item creep" should now be fixed making it more stable in these areas. ːPfishː
If you leave the game running without any input (including not moving the mouse) for 60 seconds the game will now enter a mode where it will slowly pan back and forth over your garden. The HUD will be hidden and some elements like numbers and save icons etc will also be hidden to make sure only the actual going ons in the garden will be displayed. Helpers and everyone and everything working and producing in the garden will continue to work and earn as normal though so the numbers and other things becoming hidden is only for visual effect. It will look a bit like in that bottom gif below (with the dolphin swimming). At any time you can press any button to return to normal play. If for any reason you don't want the game to enter this mode after a set amount of time there is also possible to toggle this off with a new button in the options. ːPfishː
You can also press the F3 key at any time to enter cinematic mode.
Also if anyone captures any nice footage of their garden in gif format (preferable in similar format as the gifs below) (personally I like to use Ezgif for making gifs) please upload them to the Discord (https://discord.gg/X3RmAfjBa3) (or any other place where you can upload and let me know) and I would be happy to post the image on screenshotsaturday on twitter (15mb size limit per image) ːPhelperː
I just want to make a note on an upcoming update. ːPduckː
I am currently working on an update that will add a "Cinematic Mode" to the game. After a set amount of time (or with a button prompt) the game will enter a mode where it will slowly pan back and forth over your garden. The HUD will be hidden and some elements like number blitters and save icons etc will also be hidden to make sure only the actual going ons in the garden will be displayed. Helpers and everyone and everything working and producing in the garden will continue to work and earn as normal though so the numbers and other things becoming hidden it is only visual. It will look a bit like in that bottom gif below (with the dolphin swimming). At any time you can press a button to return to normal play. If for some reason you don't want the game to enter this mode after a set amount of time there will also be possible to toggle it off with a new button in the options. ːPfishː
I just read a latest review on the game and that user wrote: "It puts joy into my soul and i dont mind just sitting listening to the game and watch it for 4hours straight". It is exactly this sort of thing this will be intended for ːPhhelperː
I don't have a set date for the update as I need to test it some more to make sure any potential issues or new bugs are taken care off before making it live. ːPufoː
Among some tweaks and adjustments the most notable change is that the save reset mechanic has been reworked to make sure that no one can reset the save by mistake. Prior there was just a prompt in the options screen if you wanted to reset the game but now you have to confirm the reset of the save by holding down the button for 3 seconds. You can confirm if you have the updated version by looking in the credits screen (1.1.5), but please don't try out the new reset save mechanic unless you actually want to reset your save (!!) ːPfishː
Among some tweaks and adjustments the most notable change is that all numbers have been changed and the visual cap on all of them (usually 99) have been removed so they should now always show the accurate number. ːPfishː
Among some tweaks and adjustments the Frog has finally learned how to "catch" those Ladybugs so as long as you have some frogs in your garden you should no longer have to find and pick up the ladybugs that spawn manually if you don't want to (a Ladybugs spawn on each level up) ːPfrogː
Thank you so much for all the feedback and reviews so far! It is so fun to read and all the amazing ideas for the game! ːPhelperːːPpigːːPhenːːPsheepːːPcowːːPdogːːPmagpieːːPfoxːːPbunnyːːPwolfːːPhhelperːːPcatːːPduckːːPgoatːːPllamaːːPfrogːːPunicornːːPdolphːːPfishːːPufoː
I am still trying to optimize more for later levels and really big gardens. ːPcatː
Among minor fixes the way saving is handled has got a new revision again to hopefully make things a bit smoother. There was an issue in the game when the player has reached very high levels and golden acorn production where the game would constantly fire saving events on a loop when the Helpers picked up the acorns or when holding down the right mouse button to scroll and this has been resolved and will hopefully make scrolling with the mouse smoother in these instances (keyboard scrolling is not affected though and had no issue). ːPfrogː
Also a note on saving. The game automatically saves the game at frequent intervals but as in any other game it is of course best to quit the game when not in the middle of a game saving event. To save and quit proper it is a good practice to enter the options menu to quit (bottom right cogwheel button). The game will automatically save the game upon entering the options and then you can quit the game with the in-game quit option or just alt-f4 from there and you will be sure the game has saved all of your latest progression before leaving. ːPhhelperː
