Our game Plow the Snow! is undergoing a graphical overhaul !
We collected a lot of feedback from our testers and Players and we decided to change our game a bit ;) Now it will feature more "stylised cartoony" graphic but a gameplay remain mostly the same - still you need to get rid of the snow in various places ! So this is still a "simulator" but more "friendly looking" :D
Environment - more stylised!
Looks cheerful, right? ;) Old one also have a gloomy climate, is a bit realistic and looks nice too i think! But this new one is gonna blow your mind ;)
Garage also has some overhaul! Remember you can use garage to repair your vehicle, select a level and other stuff between levels. I hope this new one will be a cozy place ! We need to add a comfy chair and some hot coffee pot for our characters!
Characters!
Old characters are just "normal" guy in winter outfit but these new ones... i like them a lot ! And hope you will too! Well we were inspired by some "classic style" of characters. Let's say: their names are Maria and Luigiano ;) so you know from where we has inspirations. More characters will be shown later, keep an eye on new devlogs !
3D assets - reimagined !
Old fountain and new fountain. More colorful, right ? But don't ever drink fountain's water! Not even a most pretty one! And never eat yellow snow, hopefully there won't be any in our game ;)
An old asset for this special place in park was a human statue behind some fences but we changed it to THE DUCK. Have you ever heard about THE DUCK ? Oohh.. soon you will, everyone will hear about THE DUCK ! Also we added some nice red bushes and leafes - strong plants remain in theirs colors even at winter ;)
Concept arts
Concept arts now require more hm.. let's call it "style" than real-world details. Just take a look at this concept art of a sign.
And now in fully 3D in environment. Beautiful, right? ;) Snow Inn is a name of the park that you have to snowplow. It's a first real level (except tutorial and garage) ! First levels are always most important for players and for developers to make them as best as they can!

Welcome to second ever DevLog about Plow the Snow!
How are you? How is the weather? It's uterly hot in here where i write this article. It's hard to focus on snow in this conditions believe me ;) In last devlog i promised the next one will be only about snow in Plow the Snow! but something changed and this devlog will be about something other. Sorry snow-bros!
Take care of your vehicle in Plow the Snow!
Well the game will be about plowing some snow but except riding your machine you will have to take care of your gear! First let's take a canister. It's been here for quite some time... i wonder if petrol in in get stale :D
Change tires, change battery, change the world!
Alright so now is time for some real maintenance: see an indicators in left down corner? I'ts tells you when is something wrong with your machine. You know like the "check engine" symbol. Pay attention!! Tires and battery will often need changing every one job. So be prepared... for high costs! That's the price of good service!
Changing tires... better in warm garage then in the outside! Always be prepared for the job ;)
Let's pour some juice!
Okay, so our machine must drink some petrol to get things going! Here i can show you a old way of doing it - we recently upgraded it but take a look:
After hearing some feedback we decided to change a "minigame of filling the tank" to something else. Now you have to press a button (possibly a LMB) to control how much you want to pour into the tank. I hope it will be satysfying feeling in game ;)
Ah, and sorry for a looks of petrol - let's assume it's a rocket fuel for now ;)
Garage - a great place for your machines!
Okay, gasoline and tires are important but just take a look at the whole garage! Lot of place to store your vehicles and tools! You can walk in this garage but don't worry some aspects of gameplay will be automatic so if you really don't want to you can skip some activites.
Those garages kind of remind me of old times where i was helping my grandpa. You know the drill: bring this, bring that, keep a flashlight, hold a wrench etc. ! Helping someone is sure helping to understand some of the basics in engineering and how the machines are working!

Ladies and gentlemen! The snow is back! Like every other year our nemesis is back and it's still haunts our great city: Snow Angeles! We need your help to get rid of it!
Welcome to the Plow the Snow!
You ask yourselfs: "what is this game about ?!" and here i'am to answer this: This game is about snow plowing.
Okay, end of devlog, back to work :D
Just kidding. But not truly: this game is about having fun while snow plowing !
Basic info
Soo in our game you will drive various vehicles and trying to get rid of snow in city. You can customize your gear - i mean vehicle and your worker! You will have a lot of funny caps to choose from ;) Cap is most important, it gives you warmt fell on the head in the winter! ;) You can also check your garage to fix engine, change tires and... Hey! Careful with that petrol! Don't spill any droplet! It's very expensive now!
Various levels
I hope we can deliver a fun game where you can relax while trying to achieve a 100% goal of plowing the snow from streets, parks, stadiums, parkings and a lot more! We have an ideas of a looot of levels so be prepared :) If you have any ideas where do you wanna see a lot of snow tell us in comments, we will consider each idea ;D Well i can tell you in secret that one special level will be on Alaska from our other game: Alaska Gold Fever. Play with firends!
You can even play with your friends! (or foes...) This game will feature online multiplayer - coop mode where you are helping your friend get a nice score and a FOR GLORY mode where you compete with each other: who will first gonna rid of all the snow in the level! (the loser must buy a warm coffee for the winner) Performance in each level will be rated depending on how good you was at snowplowing.
Who got the best vehicle? My bet on is on [MOD] cypher ;)
