There has been some talk about the game getting pushed back several times.. The delays have been from finishing up content and also adding some new content as in a full grip system for handling suspects, other vehicles, and a full working jail, along with many other game mechanics.
Games do delay this is nothing new.. Yes, I should have delayed it more than a week at a time but that shouldn't be an Issue. I would recommend following development and doing your research. I have posted several times that there is a discord channel and a Facebook and also a YouTube channel.
Yes, the price tag has moved up from 19.99$ to 29.99$ for EA release. I have also spent the time to add support for other HMD's.
Game development is not easy and takes time to test and to flush out things. The main reason for the delay is the extra content that has been added. I made this decision to make the initial game play as immersive as possible. I dont see this as an issue and nor does the Police Enforcement VR community. If you have a problem with this you can contact me directly. If you are interested in playing early contact me and you can get access to close beta to check out development.
