FREE Updates are coming: Welcome to Police Simulator in 2025!
Fellow Officers, it's crazy to say this, but 2025 marks the fourth anniversary of Police Simulator: Patrol Officers โ what an incredible journey it has been!
From expanding the game based on your feedback during Early Access and launching on consoles to releasing the Highway Patrol Expansion, as a police officer in Brighton you've certainly witnessed plenty of changes throughout your career. What if we told you that this year will be no different?
Today, we're kicking off a new exciting year of Police Simulator:
New, completely free updates are coming for the whole of 2025!
The Police Simulator team can't wait to expand, improve and advance your life as a police officer of Brighton even further โ with fresh content, numerous improvements, several quality-of-life enhancements, and much more.
In the recent weeks and months, we've been working on a new roadmap that is now also available on our official Trello which we also overhauled to better reflect the imminent big updates. We wanted to ensure that we're not just introducing new content to expand the Police Simulator universe but also enhance existing systems to make them more enjoyable and seamless to experience.
Here's just a glimpse of what's in store for 2025:
โก Preparation Update (ETA: March 2025)
The very first update will be released this month to further polish the game and prepare it for all future updates that will be released in 2025.
๐ Car Customization (ETA: Q2 2025)
With this update, we will allow for more customization of your vehicles within the garage by enabling the ability to swap tools between vehicles which have previously been exclusive to a specific car model (e.g. speedometer of the Surveillance Police Vehicle), plus the addition of brand new interchangeable attachments like lights, decals, and rims โ among other changes.
๐ QOL Improvements (ETA: Q2/Q3 2025)
This update introduces a bunch of frequently-requested quality-of-life improvements, including adjustments to the Conduct Points System, and more.
๐ฎโโ๏ธ New Missions (ETA: Q3 2025)
Crime has begun to spread all over Brighton. It's time to tackle new missions!
๐ฌ Callout Rework (ETA: Q4 2025)
We will rework the entire callout system โ and enable players to spawn callouts of their choice, customize the callout balance, and more.

Of course, we will release smaller updates in-between the listed bigger content drops to allow for further bug-fixing and polishing โ all based on your feedback. We are also exploring the option for additional paid content to support the development of the game. A select group of community members will also be able to playtest every update as early as possible and provide their guidance during development!

We can't wait for another amazing year of Police Simulator on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox. In addition, there's some additional secret content to be released... but we gotta keep this hidden for now. More details will be shared once we can, but in the meantime, please look forward to the very first update in just a few days!

Today's a good day: The Fast Pursuit Vehicle is now available for Police Simulator: Patrol Officers! ๐ช
Owners of either the Special Vehicle Pack, Unmarked Vehicle Pack, and Ultimate Fleet Pack will receive the FPV completely for free as part of their previous purchase. This is also the case for anyone who wants to grab one of these fantastic car packs at a later point!
In a hurry? With this patrol car, you're perfectly equipped for every kind of high-speed pursuit! The FPV supports the new and handy Launch Control, a great innovation straight from Brighton's best carmakers.
This vehicle accelerates from standstill faster than any other vehicle โ from 0 to 60 mph in just 4 seconds. Braking or abrupt steering deactivates the system for driver safety.
Launch Control unleashes the carโs full potential by interfacing with the carโs engine management system to carefully manage the engine power, torque, and traction to maximize grip and prevent wheel spin. This makes it a truly wonderful addition to your vehicle fleet!
Patch 15.1 โ Free State Skin Pack, FPV Beta Changes, and more!
Fellow Officers, we just released Patch 15.1 across all platforms โ introducing a lovely gift for all of you and a bunch of fixes!
With this update, we're introducing the State Skin Pack, containing two new uniform skins and one new vehicle skin โ now available to all players completely for free! This skin is a reference to the original liveries found in the State of Massachusetts on which our fictitious State of Franklin is based on. Enjoy it! ๐
In addition, we have released a bunch of fixes across multiple areas of the game โ including the Fast Pursuit Vehicle (FPV) that is currently accessible as a beta.
And as we're already talking about the FPV: This patrol car will finally release as a paid DLC on October 9! BTW: If you own either the Ultimate, Special or Unmarked Pack, you will release this lightning-fast patrol car completely for free! :)

Fellow Officers, we just released Patch 15.0 across all platforms โ including new features, a special beta, and many bug fixes.
You've accumulated 1000 hours in Police Simulator and want to finally switch your character? Tired of Frank and now in the mood to roleplay as Emma? Then head to the lockers and discover the new character changer!
We're also starting an exclusive beta for the Fast Pursuit Vehicle (FPV) for owners of the Special & Unmarked Packs. If you own at least one of these DLC, you are automatically eligible to try out the new patrol car and provide early feedback to the team! The FPV is the ideal police vehicle for high-speed pursuits. Thanks to its Launch Control and great handling, this vehicle accelerates from standstill faster than any other vehicle. The full release for the FPV is planned for a later date.
In addition, we have fixed several issues reported by all of you โ including a problem with patrol car acceleration, ELS reflections for unmarked vehicles, and more.

Fast Pursuit Vehicle (FPV)
