Possess to Impress Early Access Mode Now Live!

[p]Hey everyone!

A new early access mode is now live in Polterguys: Possession Party. It’s called Possess to Impress.[/p][p]Each round, the Emperor of Fashion gives you a theme. You and the other ghosts rush to possess the best costume items to match it. It’s fast, competitive, and full of ridiculous outfits.

[p]Hey everyone! Thanks for playing and continuing to send in feedback - it helps a lot. This update includes a few fixes and adjustments based on that.[/p][p]

  • [p]Fixed some issues with the new camera[/p]
  • [p]Added the ability to remove bots from custom games
    (Note: reduces medal rewards per match)[/p]
  • [p]Thrown powerups now start long and reduce distance when charged
    (Prevents accidental disco deaths)[/p]
  • [p]Fixed customize controls for camera switch[/p]
  • [p]Staging Area updated with the Summer Theme!

Hi everyone,

We just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Watching players jump into Polterguys: Possession Party, share feedback, and post their favourite moments has been incredible - and it’s helped us shape the game!



Here’s a look at the updates we’ve rolled out so far:

Polterguys: Possession Party Runs Great on Steam Deck

Just a quick heads-up: Polterguys: Possession Party works well on Steam Deck! We've tested it internally and had no issues — performance is solid, controls feel good, and nothing breaks.





We’re still waiting on the official Steam Deck Verified checkmark, but in the meantime, if you’re playing on Deck and spot anything weird, let us know. That feedback helps.

Patch Notes – Shuffle Play, Fixes & More!

Polterguys Update Now Live!
A new patch is out for Polterguys. This one focuses on bug fixes and gameplay improvements.


  • New! - Level Shuffle option added to Custom Games - as suggested by our community
  • Holiday Hoarders - improved AI pathing so the monster is less likely to land on your head
  • More fixes to level exploits -- keep those reports coming!
  • Improvements to Custom Game settings
  • Several Costumes have rediscovered their Special Abilities
  • Localization fixes
  • Camera behavior on Big Possessable Objects (like the Furnace and Dancing Knight Armor) has been improved for a smoother experience
  • Fixed carbonation issues with soda cans
  • Revamped the Networking Information overlay — Dom wants your feedback!
