With lots of new features, loads of new levels, a new exciting art style, a big focus on community content and long-term value, hours of engineering fun await you!
Coming to Steam on May 30!
New game announced!
Our new game!
After 5 years of work, we're happy to finally reveal the new game we've been working on, Plasma. Plasma is an engineering sandbox. Unleash your creativity with fun and intuitive robotics, physics, and visual programming tools.
Dear bridge-builders, below you can find information on what changes we made recently with a number of small build updates and hot-fixes, as well as a long-term plan for improving the health of our much beloved Leaderboards.
Recent Patch Changes
A number of changes and bug-fixes, including:
Fixed the Ranks screen sometimes not displaying properly
Fixed a bug with Hydraulics Controller when transitioning between levels
Icon update for Grid
Fixed a bug with Grid in Tutorial mode
A few other minor quality of life improvements and bug fixes
Long-term planned changes to Leaderboards
We recognize that over time we have had to deal with plenty of cheats and hacked scores, we do have a shadow-ban system in place that takes care of most, but not all, situations. To improve the health of our Leaderboards going forward, we will be implementing the following changes over the next few weeks:
Prevent 'falling road' solutions from submitting in leaderboards
Prevent other known exploits from submitting to leaderboards
Remove Top 1% from all boards (this is where the majority of hacked scores live)
We realize a leaderboard purge isn't ideal, which is why we're limting it to just the top 1%. This will require top players to re-submit their scores to get their footing back on the boards, but we hope it will be useful in providing a more level playing field for everyone.
Any thoughts or comments please let us know, and thanks for playing.
The acclaimed bridge-building simulator is back and better than ever!
New levels, new mechanics, and a custom deterministic physics engine. Relax to the soothing new soundtrack as you try, and retry, to keep your bridges standing long enough to get to the other side!
Pinch every penny and cut every corner to edge your way up the separate verified Unbreaking and Unrestricted leaderboards. Create, upload, and play a never-ending variety of levels in Sandbox or Workshop. Challenge yourself, friends, and the world with your own puzzles.
Poly Bridge out now on iOS
Exciting news today!
After lots of work adapting the game for touch input, Poly Bridge is now available for iPhone and iPad on the App Store
1.0.5 Patch
Dear fellow engineers,
after a brief period without updates we're back with another patch!
This patch focuses on fixing a few pesky bugs, some of which could be exploited to submit invalid scores to the leaderboards.
We'll be focusing our attention over the next couple of weeks on leaderboards to make sure they stay clean and valid for everyone to enjoy.
Do keep in mind we have an automatic banning system that checks submissions every 24 hours, any submissions that have been tampered with will result in the player being banned from the leaderboards.
Bug fixes
Fixed an exploitable bug related to moving joints with the click&hold method and creating longer than allowed struts
Fixed an exploitable bug related to starting and stopping the simulation very quickly, which resulted in the simulation running without it affecting the bridge pieces
Fixed a bug with Twitch authentication
Fixed a bug with planes above left land-mass not causing bridge breakage on collision
A few other minor bug fixes
If you find more bugs, suspicious scores on the leaderboards or have any suggestions please let us know, we're always happy to receive input from players.
Thanks!
The goat is watching...
Twitch Integration
A new kind of collaborative bridge-building experience is now possible with our Twitch Integration!
Twitch
Twitch is a live streaming video platform, allowing anyone to broadcast their game-play sessions and for an audience to watch the stream and participate in a chat.
We took it a step further and created a web-based version of Poly Bridge that allows viewers of a Twitch stream to take part in the building process itself!
A new kind of viewer experience
Viewers are no longer restricted to the chat-box, instead use an in-browser version of the game to build along with the streamer, submitting their suggestions on what and how to build
For Streamers
Poly Bridge lets the streamer play at their own pace and control how the interaction works, allowing for a tailored and entertaining viewer experience

1.0.4 Patch
Another day, another patch!
In today's patch we introduce some small improvements requested by players, as well as fixing a few minor bugs and tightening security around leaderboard submissions.
New launch parameters
Two new launch parameters have been added:
-noscaling : prevents the UI from automatically scaling since it can cause issues on some Linux multi-monitor setups
-nobackground : prevents the game from running in the background since it can cause GPU over-use on some setups
Grid changes
As requested by a few players, disabling grid-snapping will no longer entirely hide the grid, but rather make it more transparent, allowing you to still maintain the visual guides for symmetry but not forcing you to build on-grid.
The game will now also correctly remember your grid settings between play-sessions.
Leaderboard cheating
We've implemented more client-side checks to minimize submissions from hackers, and are almost finished with our automated tool to monitor leaderboards 24/7 and ban offending players.
A reminder that we use a server-side shadow-banning system, more info at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stealth_banning
Bug fixes
Fixed exploit on Wrecking Ball vehicle which allowed 'cheated' solutions to 100m level
Line tracer would occasionally crash when filling with segments of 1.0m length
Some minor bugs with the Twitch integration
In keeping with the tradition here's a cool picture from our artist Javier
And as always a big thank you to all our players for providing feedback, bug reports and great ideas to improve the game!
