The Pool Hall is much more than an online menu. This is the online hub where all online matches are displayed, joined, created and edited in one place. Live updates of the table state are displayed, so this menu itself feels alive.
This is only the first stage of the pool hall experience, soon you will be able to spectate matches, join in group chat, play winner stays on and more.

Baulk colours spotted correctly
Updated points accounted correctly on a foul

We have altered the table friction before the implementation of the slider to ensure the default speeds we are working on feel correct this has been updated for Snooker and Pool

- Player can now claim the frame when they are on black and >7 points ahead in snooker

Here is the offical changelog for the Cherry Popping good Bonfire night update :)
Box of tricks unlocked.
Workshop integration (BETA) added. Share trickshots with other people.
8Ball UK rules added with Reds and Yellow balls (including leaderboards and online play)
Walkaround camera added. (Activated/deactivated by pressing A when it is your turn)
New 'mode' icons to indicate which view mode you are in. (walkaround, shot taking, replaying etc)
Fix to hopefully prevent non-gaming/unsupported devices interfering with controls (steering wheels etc)
Replay HUD visuals updated to now show replay speed in a more elegant way.

Update launch date confirmed
To confirm the update now has a confirmed launch date, (yey!) next wednesday 5th November, this is due to a number of bug fixes highlighted from our kind beta testers and a fix for the spectator bug online that has been brought to our attention via the Steam community, where you would play online and be unable to take a shot - this is fixed in this update (or so it seems) but this did cause a few other issues that need vigorous testing.
We would not like to send it live tomorrow before the weekend, when the office is unmanned, we want to be on hand to support the update, should anything need our attention, so I hope you will all join us for a game on Wednesday :)
Those who want to get help beta test over the weekend please do get in touch the more the merrier - we really appreciate all your help.

Pool Nation Gets a Bumper Update!
You have probably heard rumours that we are planning an update (yey!!!!) I just wanted to post an official announcement that we are, it's true, and this update will include, but not limited to, the following:
The Box of Tricks - unlocked - our sandbox mode developed for the creation of trickshots, this is a workshop enabled feature and provides another element to the game of billiards. Add objects to the table, move your balls around and shoot them in the air! Do what you wish with our balls, in this mode, the more creative the better!
Reds and Yellows with UK rules - enough said! :)
Free Cam - so you can walk around the table
New mode icons to show which camera mode you are in to help with new free cam
You can now enter overhead when in free cam
New replay display that shows you your playback speed in a nicer way.
You can now hide the replay panel in replay mode.
Fix for incorrect reflection maps being used on cues/tables in certain locations.
Saved archive matches now omit the prepended 'archive_' from the file name when displayed.
Further fix to prevent non-gaming devices interfering with controls.
*this is just a breif list, a full changelog will be included with the update.
The update is going through the final stages of testing now, and all going well will be released next week!!!

Changelog V1.42 (Hotfix)
As you know we like to keep you updated on any major fixes..
The last build update introduced a fairly serious bug where you could start an online game before the other person selected 'Ready'. This strangely caused bad things to happen - and we don't want that do we? :)
You'll be pleased to know this has now been fixed in the new build.

Added quick match button to ONLINE. (will search for and join the first match it finds. If no matches found, it will create a lobby)
Fixed 'undefined' being shown as aiming aid setting in a lobby
Fixed Not being able to change your aiming aid in the lobby.
There is a new 'show launcher' option (on the launcher and in the Help & Options -> Settings menu) that allows you to turn the launcher dialog box off.
