Also Beta test ends today. Overall we are very happy with the results because:

  1. We fixed more than 100 critical bugs and minor issues that could really DESTROY our game at launch day
  2. We polished and added even more content during those 7 beta updates
  3. We improved game balanced taking into account how you played

Beta Update #7. Fix it, fix it, fix it!

BETA UPDATE #7 IS LIVE ON STEAM!

  • Added shuffle button to non-player inventory
  • Added highlight when mouse over weapon/shield attachment
  • Added tooltip when trying to drop attachment on equipped weapon/shield
  • Replaced taskbar icon
  • Changed all prostheses sizes from 2x4 to 1x3

Beta Update #6 is live on Steam!

  • Added more than 10 Steam achievements. Yay!
  • Added possibility to jump with shield
  • Added interaction hint “Press KEY to kick” when enemy is close and player is aiming at him
  • Added tutorial on prosthesis pickup
  • Added HUD icons for dead NPC on random encounter levels on global map
  • Added Assault Rifle on start level
  • Made weapon/shield shortcut cell in HUD red if corresponding is broken
  • Moved Prolog to Journal tab
  • Replaced NPC heads. More than 10 unique new heads!
  • Replaced Shuffle backpack inventory (top right corner)
  • Replaced “Other” item category with “Junk”
  • Replaced game icon in taskbar
  • Replaced Stopper’s head
  • Fixed Mukesh dialogue when Slaves are dead

  • Removed NPC as partner functionality. Hernia won’t be your partner anymore


MOST IMPORTANTLY:

  1. This update could break old game saves. We warned about that :)
  2. It is highly recommended to start a new game now if you have issues with old game saves (please restart the game first if you tried to load old game save).
  3. You have to start new game if you want to get Steam achievements while playing the game.

Beta Update #5

Hey, survivors. Less than 2 weeks left before POSTWORLD full release on Steam. Yes, no Early Access, you read this right.

Meanwhile, Beta update #5 is ready! Changes:

  • Added better UI icons for navigation in the world (green flags for quest objects, yellow icons for merchants, etc.)
  • Added death cause to death screen (flies, fire, bullets, melee damage, bleeding, etc.)
  • Added notification when character is thirsty and trying to sleep
  • Added Hernia to compass
  • Added more water, food and repair kits to merchants
  • Added pistol sight and magazine on start level
  • Replaced heads for Kalym, Mukesh, Oldman and more!
  • Made character transparent when camera is too close
  • Last selected quest in journal will be saved
  • Improved Hernia AI
  • Fixed first aid kit and surgical kit tooltips when “Medic” skill is acquired
  • Fixed weird shield behaviour when NPC is stunned by kick
  • Fixed ladders material
  • Fixed backpack/vest swap corner case
