We're Crowdfunding For Dino Run, DIY Style

Hello Potato-Folks,

For those of you that play our other games, you may have heard about Dino Run. It's probably our most popular game, and today we launched something pretty big for it:

We created our own crowdfunding platform to make some major improvements to it.

Dino Run SE is going to be retired, replaced by Dino Run DX. Anyone who owns the current game (SE) will get a free upgrade to DX, and of course a free Steam Key when we release it on Steam.

Estimated Steam launch: late September, about a month from now.

BIG UPDATE! Trading Cards, Full Controller Support and SPEEDRUN Timer.

Hello all,

We just made some significant updates to Potatoman:

1) TRADING CARDS. Collect your favorite characters from the game!

2) FULL CONTROLLER SUPPORT.. All controllers should now work, and the d-pad can finally be used as well :)

3) SPEEDRUN TIMER! Press T (or bumpers) to toggle the timer visibility on and off. The timer will end when you collect the 7th pyramid from the last level, and give you a link to compare your time with your friends or the rest of the world.

Also, the game is now 25% off for a few more days.

Finally, Pixeljam is celebrating our 10 YEAR Anniversary this month, and we're doing a retrospective on every single game we've made... all 20 of them!

Update #3: Potatoman just launched on iOS!

Hello all,

A quick note that Potatoman just launched on iOS yesterday:

If you know anyone that might like the game on that platform instead of the obviously superior Steam version, let em know :)

Also, we have not forgotten about true controller support for Steam, we've just been busy getting the iOS version up and running.

Update #2 : Controller Deadzone Fix

Made a slight update today (build 474767) that should help with the controller deadzone issue. Full dpad support coming soon. Also coming soon: trading cards and maybe even some free DLC :)

Update #1: Bug fixes, and future content survey

Hello Seekers,

As usual with game launches, there were a few bugs that needed immediate squashing, so we squashed them! Specifically a nasty error screen that can happen on the last level, and another one dealing with graphics drivers that may be out of date. Make sure your build is the latest (466113) and you should be sorted.

More importantly, we want to add that unless an enormous boulder hits our studio and kills everyone, we intend to add some new content to the game, and we want to ask what you all would like to see:

- Trading Cards?
- New achievements?
- Something else?

Potatoman Will Be Released on Steam December 3rd

The headline explains it rather well: we will be releasing Potatoman on Steam December 3rd! And now, some Q & A:

Q: I already have the game, will I get a key?
A: Yes! Depending on where you got it, it might be delivered to you automatically (like through your humble page) or you might have to contact us and claim it .

Q: Has the game changed at all?
A: YES!
- We altered part of the ending sequence significantly
- We redid the rendering engine, so now the game plays smoother, has more vibrant colors and goes into true fullscreen mode
- We added controller support (partial)
- Each level now has multiple color palettes, to improve replayability
- Minor bug fixes, etc.

Q: What will it cost?
A: $3.99 USD

Q: Will I find the Troof?
A: Maybe.
