This week we're bringing to you a double patch with a bunch of fixes and an exciting addition to the game - we've added Japanese language to Potion Permit!

- Fixed the operational hours of closed buildings
- Fixed an issue with disabled button input after events
- Fixed material layering on the potion crafting screen

- Fixed Russo and Kipps animation on the bench
- Added serum unlocked notification
- Fixed plant spawning time after event
- Fixed time skip during part-time work event
- Fixed stuck diagnosis when MC collapses at 2 o'clock

Thank you so much for your support and feedback this past year, we could not be happier with the love and passion you have shown and shared with us and all the residents of Moonbury.

Now, because it's the festive season, we come to you with a little surprise :present:
We are excited to share with you Potion Permit's roadmap for 2023!

There will be four major updates planned throughout the year, and here's a taste of what's to come:

  • Hotly requested, new romance-able characters are on their way
  • We'll be adding additional languages
  • There will be a new mechanic and some system changes to improve quality of life
  • New quests and arcade mini-games will also be added
  • You'll be greeted in-game with a new opening cinematic

Today, we are excited to bring to you version 1.09 of Potion Permit! Almost two months after release, we are still working hard to tackle any issues and bugs that have been reported to us. Two weeks have passed since the release of Potion Permit and your departure to Moonbury! Thank you to everyone who has played and sent in their feedback and bug reports so far. We are working hard to tackle any issues reported to us and are excited to bring you patch 1.08 today!

Potion Permit Is Now Steam Deck Verified

Beta Branch Open For Testing - Mouse Support

Hey Chemists,

Thank you very much for playing Potion Permit. We appreciate all your feedback and the team is working tirelessly to address as much of it as possible. As such, we'll be opening up the beta branch with the following changes implemented. To access the beta branch, follow the instructions below:

Right click Potion Permit > Properties > Betas > Select "public_beta"
It will download some additional data and will then be ready to play

We have now implemented mouse support for you to test in the beta branch.

Full mouse support is now available for:

  • Main menu
  • Character creation



  • Dog naming UI
  • Settings
  • Journal



  • Inventory
  • Dog feeding UI
  • NPC interaction



  • Vending UI
  • World Map

Additionally, partial mouse support has been implemented for:

  • Potion brewing



Whilst these changes aren't final, we'd love to hear how you are finding the implemented mouse support.
