Greetings Everyone,

The release date for the Spirits Beyond expansion is quickly approaching, but we have one final preview to tide all of you over until Expansion 28 is released on March 30th. Normally this is when we reveal more details about specific runes, but since a lot of what would have been shown was revealed in the Flavor Text Contests and the Preview Video we will give all of you something for speculation.

Expansion 28 Preview 3 and VoA Final Days Event!

We are happy to reveal it's official name for Pox Nora's 28th Expansion, Spirits Beyond. As we get closer to the release of Spirits Beyond more will be revealed about what this the name of the expansion is eluding to in regards to lore. This will give all of you some time to speculate as to what that may be.

With today's preview we have more More great things for all of you including an all new event! But , before we get into any of that we need to address the previous contest and event.

[B]Visions of Amareth Final Days Event[/B]
The Visions of Amareth expansion is coming to a close and to give it one final send-off we are giving all of you a chance to earn Expansion 27 packs! Starting right now, March 11th, and lasting until 5PM PST March 29th you can earn 1 Visions of Amareth pack for every 10 Ranked matches played. Matches must last a minimum of 10 minutes to count towards this event. For this event you can earn a maximum of 5 packs, but that isn't all!

Grand Prize
At the end of this event we will have a drawing from all the players who received all 5 packs, and one lucky player will get 1 of every Visions of Amareth rune including the Legendary runes in addition to the 5 packs!

You have 20 days to play 50 matches lasting over 10 minutes before the event ends March 29th 5PM PST (8PM EST, March 30th 12AM UTC) Rewards will be given out at the conclusion of this event. To redeem the packs once they have bee rewarded you will need to go to the Marketplace and click on the link that says Entitlements at the top of the screen.

It's that time between expansions where it is quiet, almost too quiet. Well that silence ends now! You can start getting excited because this is the first preview for Pox Nora's 28th expansion.

This preview is more than just showing you the art we are actually going to show you what the runes will do, and give you the community a chance to contribute with an all new contest!

[B]Flavor Text Contest[/B]

A merchant caravan of Skeezick and Draksar seek shelter behind a large rock formation in the desert. The wind is thick with sand and it is still hitting the people. Sitting behind them just out of reach of the winds is a bulky barbarian, stroking a small cute looking kitten which he holds to his chest.

Companionship Gala
Platonic love is a strong bond between friends, companions, and comrades. It is what drives the factions and races of Poxanthuru to work together and build coalitions for protecting their kin from those who would do them harm.

One particular relationship stands above all others in this land of chaos and turmoil. The bond between one Huntress and her faithful pet boar is everlasting and can weather any force of darkness.



From February 10th to February 24th the True Love campaign will be available for free in the Pox Nora Story Campaigns. Help Ayla the Huntress rescue Thor the Tempest Boar from Xulos's insidious experiment. For those who are up for the challenge, beating the True Love campaign on the Legendary Difficulty will award the Limited Edition Ayla the Huntress rune.

For this season, extend a greeting to your fellow Pox Nora player. Work together with for a common goal by grouping up and playing 2v2 matches to get those remaining Team League rewards.

Pox Nora Patch: January 28th, 2016
Greetings Everyone,

A new patch is now available, which includes bug fixes and design changes.

Announcement
For one day, February 2nd, the Boon’s Eve campaign will be available on the Pox Nora Marketplace. This is your chance to get the Limited Edition Blood Owl rune if you missed it for during the Boon's Eve event period.

This one day re-release of the Boon's Eve campaign is coinciding with the All hail our terrible and mighty master Liquin_3rd Day, which is an event created by the community to praise the elusive Pox Nora artist Liquin_3rd.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed several instances were errors would occur when specific game mechanics would interact with each other
  • Fixed an issue where Domain: Dead Magic Zone was stacking +2 DMG and +1 DEF for every instance Dead Magic Zone was applied to a single location.
  • Poisonburst is no longer incorrectly usable while Incorporeal
  • Preparation's stat buffs are now properly removed if the ability is lost
  • Stealthed relics should no longer persist for the opponents after destruction

Visions of Amareth Midterm is here!

The Visions of Amareth Midterm is here, and with it comes eight new Legendary runes, one Limited Edition rune, a new story, and more!



Visions of Amareth Midterm Short Story Contest Results
In December we launched a contest giving players a chance for their short story to become part of Pox Nora Lore. The community narrowed down the entries to 3 finalists. All the entries were exceptional, resulting in this being extremely close decision, but after much deliberation Bellagion's entry A Field Report was determined to be the winner. The three finalists will be contacted regarding their prizes. Congratulations to Bellagion, the two other finalists Skullferno and badgerale, and a big thanks to everyone who participated.

  • Fixed an issue that was causing Heroic Achievements to not properly reset or track progress for some players.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed champions with the ability Brushwalker to move over impassable terrain if those tile spaces were Vegetation.
  • Fixed an issue with the ability Nora Pearls that allowed its effects to stack.
  • Fixed an issue preventing the spell Nora Drain from being cast.
  • Fixed an issue preventing the Scythe Whirl ability's buff from being dispelled.
  • Fixed an issue with the ability Fire Blast that was causing it to hit friendly champions.
  • Fixed an issue where the ability Equip: Heretic Shackle could equip unequipable champions.
  • Fixed an issue where the ability Magnate's Blessing would not trigger Quest: Support Ally.
  • Fixed an issue where the condition form the spell Taint could not be dispelled.
  • Fixed an issue where a champion with the ability Precision could still miss if the target was under the effects of the spell Whispers of the Mind.
  • Fixed an issue where some players Avatars would have abilities that were above rank 3. All abilities on Avatars should not go higher than rank 3.

Visions of Amareth Midterm Release Date!
We are happy to announce the Visions of Amareth Midterm will be released on January 20th.

Additionally, the Visions of Amareth Megabox will be removed form the Pox Nora Marketplace on January 13th. This is the last chance to get the Limited Edition Ice Dragon Statue or Flaming Skull relics.
