🔨 Smithing Update Has Arrived!
* New Features - Added tin ore vein that generates near water. It can be mined to get tin ore - Added copper ore vein that generates in deep forest. It can be mined to get copper ore - All boulders and veins now can be mined dynamically - change the object's shape as you hit it - Improved game lighting and shadows - Added wolf that spawns in deep forest. Be careful, it bites! - Added wolf boss (3rd boss) portal that is currently sealed because the boss is on vacation - Added clay deposits in deep forest. They can dug with a shovel to get clay - Added new build Smelter. It can be used to smelt ore into ingots. Mixing copper and tin makes bronze - Added new item Clay Crucible. It can be used to transport liquid metal (like copper). It can be used to mix together copper and tin to make bronze in ratio 8:2 - Added new item Clay Ingot Mold that can be used to create ingots - Added simple ingots: copper and tin. These are only placeholders for now because they don't have any use. They also can't be smelted back to liquid yet - Added complex ingot bronze, which can be hammered into a different shape. It has volumetric properties and can be used on the anvil - Added Wooden Tongs craft. They can be used to hold any object but are meant to be used with hot ingots - Added new build Anvil. It can be cast from bronze and allows forging of bronze tools - Added new tools: Bronze Axe, Dagger, Hammer, Pickaxe, Shovel, and Sword. All tools except the sword are next tier after bone, which means they have better durability and do more damage. The sword can be forged but is only a placeholder for now as it doesn't do damage. This will change in future updates - Added Quench Tank build. The finished forge can be quenched inside this tank to produce the final tool item - Added wolf meat, hide, head - Ores and wood now have max burn value after which they disappear - Improved world and character upgrade system - Improved save/load of data. 🆕 New Functionality
- Trees have been changed for new models. Tree chopping functionality has been improved. The tree can now also do damage to the player if it drops on top of them - Auto save added. Default value is 10 minutes. The player can adjust it in the menu book. It can also be turned off or set to a maximum value of 120 minutes - Equipped armor now saves - Equipped pocket tools now save - Can scroll UI with thumbstick and moving and turning is disabled - Disabled 'Back to Homestead' button when dead in Homestead - Items now not rolling away from player - Wiki has been changed and extra controls have been added. Will add more info there in later versions - The day-night system has been enabled. Each day-night cycle is 60 minutes. You can elapse time with the bed - The bed build has been enabled and can be now used. When the player clicks on the icon, they can sleep. The time elapses faster and the player wakes up in the morning. The respawn point is also set to the last bed the player has slept on - Added rabbit, boar and deer sounds effects - Branches can now be broken into sticks in the sawbuck - New build has been added - the chest. Save your items in this extra storage. Only backpack items are compatible with the chest. I will add tool and wood racks in later versions - Rabbits, boars and deers now don't roll away - When canceling a craft, the craft now resets and the used items are lost - Sawbuck menu enhanced with available input items - Sound effects are now pooled which makes them start immediately - Added sound effect to stick to twigs break
