To battle in this holiday place, the brave Defenders need special Energy. The Energy restores once a day or can bought for Stars. Active Premium doubles the amount of Energy!
Clearing the hard levels does not require additional energy. It means the more hard levels you clear the more holly you get!
For every victory (even on the hard levels) you will get holly as a reward. Exchange them for valuable prizes in a special Holiday Fair!
The number of holly per battle will be increased when the location level reaches: 90, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500.
Among the prizes, in the Holiday Fair you may find:

Location level may be increased by clearing hard levels:
❄️ clearing 1–10 hard levels will not change the location level ❄️ 11 cleared levels will increase location level by 1 ❄️ 12 cleared levels will increase location level by 2 ❄️ 13 cleared levels will increase location level by 3 etc. the maximum location level increase that can obtained in one battle is 10. You may get it after clearing 20 hard levels.
The number of holly per battle will be increased when the location level reaches: 90, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500. The active Premium doubles the number of holly you get as a battle reward!
At the same time, a high rate of holiday mood makes the location unstable. The location level resets daily according to the following rules:

The number of daily "snow" rating points is an number of the maximum level of the mine reached in a day The rating is updated once a day.

These chevrons will not give you an edge in battles but they will add a snowy icon to your nick in chat! ːsteamhappyː
Hotfix
⚙️To lessen the effect of the second bonus on the overall value of Endurance Rune we have increased the rune’s bonus to the effect: <*> Endurance Rune now increases the effect by 50% and toughness by 75% (instead of increasing the effect by 30% and toughness by 50%)
⚙️Also, we have increased damage bonus of Pumpkin Rune to lessen the effect of changing the rune set in Towers with periodic damage on their effectiveness in battles: <*> Longevity Rune now increases damage by 70% and toughness by 75% (instead of increasing damage by 45%)

New Cards
Meet Bruiser, a new Hero in the Prime Zone! He is a legendary counterpart of a well-known players’ favourite Hero, Duelist ːsteamhappyː
Also, there are foil versions of the following cards: Flying Crusher, Missile Launcher, Bruiser, Patriot, and Lady Frost. As with the other foil cards you have a chance to get them while crafting ːsteamhappyː
Anomaly Towers
Now, there is a chance for an Anomaly Tower to appear on the battlefield. This is a special Tower that will help you fight specific enemies in a battle. However, it is damaged at the beginning of the battle and requires some amoun of Prime.

New Enemies
If your account is of Level 90 you may encounter new enemies on the battlefields — fearless warriors of the wolf pack!
🔹 Gnoll. When trying to inflict Fear on this small and fast monster, he clears himself of all debuffs and increases his speed by 200%.
🔹 Werewolf is a ground monster with average health and speed parameters. When trying to inflict Fear on him, he clears himself of all debuffs and increases his speed by 200%.
🔹 Wolfhound. He is slow, has plenty of health and strong armor parameter. He also clears himself of all debuffs and increases his speed by 200% when trying to inflict Fear on him.
Runes

🔹 Runes that increase the Tower’s main parameter now add main damage and damage per second to the Towers with periodic damage.

New Mine System
Dear Friends!
Lately, we have been working hard on many global rebalances and additions. With every update, the game becomes not only more interesting and engaging but also more convenient and easy-to-play. Lots of things have been done and soon something big will come to the game. Something that all the players will be glad to see.
Of course, we are talking about the resource mine system ːsteamhappyː
Since the seasons were brought to the game, the fight for the mines has become more interesting for many players. However, along with a surge of interest, the problems of resource mines also came to the fore:
<*> Complex and unobvious algorithm for selecting opponents. Because of this, there were situations when, after changing a mine, it was possible to lose tens and hundreds of levels.
<*> Long waiting between attempts to change the mine (including its topology and the enemy). This both knocked down the dynamics of the fight for the rating and, sometimes, was used to prevent other players from leveling-up and/or changing mines to more convenient ones.
These are the most obvious and painful parts of the system that many players have complained about.
However, besides this, some problems are not so obvious:
<*> Players are often faced with a choice — to get resources from conquered mines or fight for a place at the top. We believe that these positions should not be mutually exclusive.
<*> It is not uncommon for beginners and some low-level players to not be able to conquer a mine and, of course, get resources for card upgrades.
<*> The calculation of the rating is not transparent and works rather strange — when the enemy conquers the mine, the player's rating does not change.
We were looking at quick-fix options — and polled players on which one they found more appropriate. However, neither we nor the players have a clear opinion on this matter. At the same time, the options under consideration could not solve all the current problems and could potentially exacerbate them. A completely new system was needed for the mines that would give back some transparency and clarity to the players.
These considerations made us take a break to develop a completely new system. For resource mines:
<*> to be the fairest and easiest-to-understand PvP mode, where players can compete for a place in the TOP according to clear rules;
<*> not to make choosing between getting essences and fighting for the rating;
<*> to give a rating to the player according to the most understandable rules.
The new system — that will appear in the game with the next season! — will work as follows:
At each point, the player will always have their own mine, which will always bring them resources. Each mine will have its own topology (a set of the Touched, paths, anomalies, disasters, etc.) and the current level. The number of resources received will be calculated as it is done now — according to the level of the mine and bonuses from the ship.
This is where the most interesting things begin — the fight for the mines, the change in the mine level, and, of course, the rating. ːsteamhappyː
1. Enemy. Unlike the current system, where a significant number of players can simultaneously fight for a mine, in the new system, only two players participate in the fight for a particular mine: the owner and the attacker. For the attacker (i.e. you, my Defender!) The current owner of the mine is the enemy. They are the player who currently owns the mine, and whom you can attack.
So, the algorithm picks up not a specific player but a mine for your attack. The available mine will always be of a higher level than your current one. Only one player can attack the mine at a time. Before an attack, you will be able to see how convenient the mine is, for example, with the help of reconnaissance. This function will work the same as it does now.
If for some reason you do not like the mine available for attack (an inconvenient disaster, evil Fleetles, or you simply don’t like it!), it can be changed at any time. There are no technical restrictions for changing the enemy. However, this function will cost a certain amount of Silver or Stars. At the same time, the new mine available for your attack will still be of a higher level than the one you currently own.
So, there will no longer be situations when a change of mine led to losing the rating and level because, in the new system, you change only the opponent. The current mine you own does not change in any way.
2. Revenge if the mine is lost, it can be retaken with Revenge.
Revenge is a retaliatory attack on a mine that once was in your possession but has now been conquered by a vicious enemy.
It has several limitations:
<*> Revenge is available for a limited time after the mine has been conquered by an enemy;
<*> Even if there are lots of enemies who are advancing, constantly taking away the mine, the highest-level mine will be chosen for Revenge;
<*> Revenge becomes inaccessible after any victory at this point. Even if it was a fight with the enemy and not Revenge itself.
3. Rating The rating will become as transparent as possible as it will be calculated with the sum of the levels of the mines that the player currently owns. And it should go down if the mine is conquered by the enemy. It can be especially critical in a situation where two mines are being leveled-up with the Revenge mechanic, and the gap in levels between them is big. Therefore, after successful Revenge, it makes sense to choose another mine that is proposed by enemy selection.
Let's look at an example:
Aragorn has mine A of Level 100. Also, Aragorn has an opponent, Jack89, with mine B of Level 110.
Aragorn decides to attack mine B and try to take it away from the Jack89.
Having won, Aragorn gets the mine B, which will become level 130 (110 initial + 20 for the number of hard levels cleared). And the Jack89 will get the mine A, which was previously owned by Aragorn, of Level 100.
At this moment, Jack89 has the opportunity to use the Revenge mechanism and take their mine back.
So, upon victory, players honestly exchange mines with all the features of mines — level, set of creeps, anomalies, etc.
Having won, the Jack89 will get back the mine B, already Level 150 (130 + 20 for difficult levels cleared). In turn, Aragorn will again get the mine A of Level 100 and have an opportunity to take revenge on Jack89 and conquer the mine B, which has already leveled-up to Level 150.
Thus, two players can level-up a mine between them to incredible heights. However, the larger the gap in levels between the mines is, the greater is the risk of losing a significant amount of rating.
So, after some time, the mine B reaches Level 500 but the mine A remained on Level 100.
The mine A belongs to Jack89 who can use Revenge and take over the mine B. The mine B belongs to Aragorn, who will lose 400 points of the rating if Jack89 manages to reconquer the mine.
Therefore, the choice of strategy and tactics for fighting for ratings will become as flexible as possible, where players can choose what they like best: to level-up a mine with good topology, but risk high rating values; to go from mine to mine with various topologies, but risk less rating; choose the right time for attacking the mine, etc.
Meanwhile, after the successful Revenge, Jack89 notices Britney among the opponents and does not want to fight her for the mine. He is a gentleman! Jack89 simply changes the opponent because it can be done at any time, and continues to fight for the mines with another enemy.
However, changing the enemy costs a certain amount of Silver or Stars, and if Jack89 is not ready to give up resources, they can wait until the next day because once a day, opponents change automatically and for free.
