PrimeOrbial Cooperative Online Multiplayer Update: Players can now team up in regular online play!

In this update, PrimeOrbial players can now team up to complete RainbowVersal Games challenges together!

Players can connect via a regular internet connection. This is not splitscreen, but rather genuine online multiplayer network play for up to 4 players.

Any player can host an online multiplayer game and can choose the max player count. Once a game is created, the public name of the game and the max player count can be adjusted at any time.

The new multiplayer coop hub allows players to choose from multiple worlds.

Players can now battle drones, complete physics stunts, and perform carefully timed puzzle sequences together in several new coop worlds. 
 
Each coop world is a multiplayer obstacle course where you and your friend work together in often spontaneous ways due to physics-driven gameplay.

Current early-access coop worlds are focused on two-player gameplay, where you and a friend find creative ways to battle, sprint, dash, and smash your way to Victory.

PrimeOrbial Update For Your End-Of-Summer Entertainment

Overview



  • This update focuses on making the trainer levels even more fun for new players by adding a pO Tourist challenge variant to each trainer.

  • Challenge variants let you replay each trainer as you enhance your skills, adding replay value to the entire game!

  • A feeling of player progression is added to the game as the main hub area (the Cosmic Garden) evolves as you complete the various trainer courses!

  • Access to the Outer Worlds (varied exotic worlds of the RainbowVerse!) is granted after you have completed 2 trainer worlds.

  • Access to all your PrimeOrbial abilities is granted after completing 5 of the trainer worlds!

Check Point System In Addition to In-Game Save System


166. A Checkpoint system has been added in addition to the instant in-game save system so that you can reload your progress within larger levels like Crystal Core even if you accidentally save right before that missle blasts you back to the Infinite!

Trainer Levels


167. Tether Temple, PrimeOrbial challenge variant no longer requires the tether loopback skill, now there is a tether beam above and attached to the ledge, making this section of the tether course much easier to complete. The tether loopback skill is still present on the pO Expert challenge variant.

168. Trainers now have pO Tourist variant for new players to enjoy honing their skills in a "completely friendly" environment

World Creator


169. World Creator / In-Game Editor: Links now have option to only activate once, completing their actions and then are never activateable again until that game cycle is finished. This new features saves and loads with the instantaneous in-game save system!

170. New Feature: Ability to select all objects of same material via right click context menu!

171. Brain Code (in-game 3D scripting language) Link selection is now much improved, allowing precise selection of the joy links between in-game objects!

172. World Optimization Tool: Makes it easy to create performant levels, you can opt out of phases of this tool based on your preferences!

Outer Worlds


173. Crystal Core, Gauntlet, and Harmony Ring Tower have all had fixes to world geometry.

174. Crystal Core rotating container near beginning can no longer be activated by lasers, ensuring continued progress through the level.

175. Gauntlet World has been updated to make use of the new feature of links only activating once, in the kinetic puzzle involving a spinning ring and some very pink drones.



Save and Load


176. Projectiles no longer play their fire sound when recreated during the in-game instant load process, which was previously causing a density of laser fire sounds at time of re-loading the game from last player-chosen save position.

Game Guidance and Adventure Creation


177. Objective System added, players can customize using Brain Codes to create their own scripted adventures!

Cosmic Garden (Main Hub Area + Starting Zone)


178. The Cosmic Garden now has phases based on how many trainer levels have been completed! Please re-do the trainers if you've done them already to unlock these phases. The final phase grants you full access to all of your abilities and to the entire grandeur of the Cosmic Garden!
