Hi!
The game was released 2 days ago, and it's really cool that you like it, I really like it!
You also notified me some bugs in the game that I noticed and patched here :

Important bugs:

  • Spamming the dialogs does not softlock the game anymore.


Minor bugs:

  • the game will no longer start in RV
    (UE4 has VR plugins enabled by default, without VR headphones on my side not easy to see but a player explained it to me in dm, so it's done!)
  • Pierrick won't get up again if you kill him. (stay down demon!)
    You can no longer see through the curtains of the infirmary.
  • Correction of some TPs.
  • Menu SFXs have been lowered. (yes, they were loud)
  • You can no longer get through the toilet walls. (probably the most reported bug)
  • Improvement of the level design.
    (note: Some people have managed to make big detours in the game when the paths were not blocked, now it's not possible to fall on parts of the map where you're not supposed to go)
  • Miscellaneous corrections in the French and English translations of the game.
  • Miscellaneous patches.

Project BLARI is finally available on Steam in its final version!

I'm very proud of the result and I hope you'll enjoy the game as much as I do!



I worked alone on the game during the whole year 2020, it will have been long but I learned a lot from a technical point of view and the game really took a scope that I like with its different endings! In December 2019 I didn't know how to code, and today almost 1 year later, my first solo game is coming out on steam and I hope the result will live up to your expectations!

BETA

I'm ecstatic at the idea of going into beta! Steam finally validated the build of the game and now we are advanced enough to launch the more intensive tests!

This is what the beta means at the moment:

  • All the NPCs are there, functional and have their dialogues and quests.
  • All the endings of the game are accessible.
  • 80% of the achievements are achievable.
  • All the backgrounds are there.





During the next few weeks I will focus on fine-tuning the game and fixing the bugs found by the beta testers and on top of that I have different goals to achieve:

  • Translation of the game into English.
  • Creation of the collectible documents.
  • Global optimization of the game.
  • Creation of unique assets to help tracking in the game.


Music also comes into the game thanks to Neku who works hard to make the sound atmosphere crazy!

I'm even a bit ahead of schedule right now so I plan to release some devlog on Youtube and if I have time, add some additional content! (provided that the beta goes well)
