Improvements are as followed:
1. Brand new UI, Main Menu, Pause Menu, and Save System. I am now using a professional plugin which is immensely better and straightforward. The plugin is fully supported by an Xbox One controller. IMPORTANT, pausing the game with the keyboard is now the #5, even though it say's it's ESC in the game. It was supposed to be ESC but a human error, aka myself, made an input mistake. Pause is start on the Xbox One controller as in the previous game. Controller support is ten times better, and you can now manually adjust different graphical settings, keyboard/mouse/ settings, display settings, fullscreen/windowed, and master audio.
IMPORTANT: Upon reaching the main menu when opening the game, click the (Load Game) tab and delete all the Quicksaves slots entitled, "Quicksave." Next, click the (New Game) tab and ALWAYS manually save your game from the pause menu (Save Game) tab. Never click the (Continue) tab in the main menu unless all Quicksaves slots are deleted, and only your manual save games remain. Manual save games will always start as "Save 1, Save 2, Save 3, etc...." These bugs are within the plugin, which I can't currently resolve, but working hard to fix them! Images below.
2. Every single object's level of detail has been optimized for performance.
3. Animations for weapon and object pickups are 50% faster. Melee is also 50% faster.
4. The player will always start with a handgun, even if you have been killed.
5. Assault Rifles and ammo has been significantly increased.
6. Players can now shoot through all types of doorways, that bug has been fixed.
This patch is not perfect but a huge improvement, I am working hard to improve the game over time. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! I am new at game development and appreciate any help! Project Skylab 2 is coming along great, and it's going to be cool!
