Physics & Performance Improvements, New DLC Map (Njarovik), Steampunk Car DLC
Greetings!

This update introduces a new, free DLC map: Njarovik.



You can add this DLC to your library, and download it here.

A new DLC vehicle has been added, the Steampunk Car!



When this DLC is owned and installed, you can switch to the Steampunk Car in-game via pressing the number 1 key on your keyboard. To switch back to the regular pickup truck, press 1 again.

Added:

Bug Fixes and Improvements:

  • Fixed (You took a swim and Opened the Real-time Minimap) achievements being unobtainable

  • #1 decal to main menu building

  • Improved and re-did Physics, you no longer slide around the maps uncontrollably
  • Fixed Map 1 option loading a debugging map, it now loads the correct map
  • Fixed Achievements being unobtainable

Achievement Fix - January 3, 2023
The issue with achievements being unobtainable has been fixed.

Update - December 20, 2022
Added:

  • Play Project Speed 2 button in Main Menu. You can now open Project Speed 2 from in Project Speed, so long as you own and have Project Speed 2 installed.

  • Improved performance
  • Improved compression, and removed many unused files, significantly reducing file size of the game

Project Speed 2 - Releasing January 2, 2023
ABOUT PROJECT SPEED 2:

Project Speed 2 is a 3D Racing Game with multiple maps & vehicles to choose from made with Unreal Engine 5.

Project Speed 2 includes all of the original Project Speed game's features, reworked, & more!
The game currently has 3 open-world offroading maps, & multiple vehicles to choose from to play with.

The game also includes a fully functioning Multiplayer mode, which you can either host a Peer2Peer session, or join a dedicated server (Dedicated Servers are able to be hosted by you for free, using the Project Speed 2 Dedicated Server app that comes with the game).

*You may run into bugs at the initial release of the game - the game is in Early Access.*

Project Speed 2 builds off of the original Project Speed game, & it is planned to add more content & features to the game than ever before, including some community content from the players, until (& after) full release from Early Access.

All vehicles are customizable in some way or another. Using the in-game vehicle customization menu (activated by pressing P when in-game), you can customize your vehicles color. (More customization options coming in a later release!)

Project Speed 2 is a free game. Game does not require a 3rd party account.

Project Speed 2 Release Date Delayed
Due to some recent events regarding Steam, and work still being done on the game, the release date is being delayed until Q2 2022.
