First Update!

The first update is live! Yes we are a bit early, but the next update is going to take quite a bit of work to get it working. So, we've decided to update early this time so we have more time for the next one.

We've implemented hostile targets, a checkpoint system for the player's save, we've made the shop a little prettier, we've added a real model for the pistol, sound effects, a little music, and a little pit of fancy fading out on death.

We are fully aware of a little bug that the locker and shop menu buttons don't quite work the way as intended, however, that stems from a bug in the Unreal Engine, and should be patched out soon.

First Update Tasks

Hellow all, I'm sure you are already burning with the desire to know what it is that's going to be in the June update. So, to answer the question that has yet to be asked, even before anyone can even get the game, here it is:

First, updates will be made at the end of each month. This gives you guys enough time to think of things to potentially ad, things to find, and other such community input, and it gives us enough time to implement those things, given that we really have a very small available labor budget (only about 100 man-hours per month). So, onto the actual list.


  • Save system
  • Updated pistol model
  • Voice lines
  • Implement enemy AI


with the release date of the project getting pushed back as far as it did, this update will probably be one of the most drastic updates that we will release. Each update will come with a todo list of things to handle in the next update, so we will be taking input from this particular release, and adding it to the todo of the NEXT update (unless something can be added quickly and finished quickly)
