Psychoscopy 1.1 Update

  • With this update, Psychoscopy now supports four additional languages

  • Added:
    - Added support for Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, and Spanish languages.
    - Turkish language translation has been completed.

  • Fixed:
    - Corrected various translation errors.
    - Fixed item spawn point issues on certain maps.
    - Adjusted incorrect item height placements on some maps.
    - Fixed an issue where the roof ladder would create wrong collision after being opened and closed once.
    - Fixed a bug that made the Siamese Kitten unselectable.
    - Resolved an issue that caused unnamed and empty character records to appear at the end of the game in certain cases.
    - Fixed a bug where some settings would not be applied correctly when the apply button was used under specific conditions.

  • Changed:
    - Updated the random teleportation system to prevent ghosts from teleporting into inaccessible areas or behind locked doors.
    - Updated the Labyrinth to prevent teleporting ghosts from entering the central area before the door is unlocked.
    - Increased the number of totems on large open-world maps from 1 to 3, and raised the number of possible Protection Pentagram spawns.
    - Increased the number of totems on medium open-world maps from 1 to 2, and raised the number of possible Protection Pentagram spawns.
    - Increased the number of EFGs that can spawn in Nightveil Village from 1 to 3.
    - All texts on the Inspect pages have been converted from images to in-game text to allow full translation support.

Psychoscopy 1.0 Released!

After a long and dedicated development journey, we are happy to finally release Psychoscopy in its full version.

Since day one, we have worked to bring all of our ideas to life and enrich the world of the game as much as possible. Along the way, we have carefully listened to your feedback to improve the experience, making the gameplay smoother and incorporating many of the features you asked for.

With Psychoscopy, we set out to go beyond traditional horror games, aiming to deliver a different and unforgettable experience. This journey into the depths of the mind wasn’t just about fear; we wanted to provoke thought, evoke discomfort, and spark curiosity. We envisioned a world where players could track ghosts and capture their presence on camera, discover hidden items and companions, communicate with spirits through equipments, and even perform rituals to banish them, a fully interactive experience where every moment invites exploration.

We want to thank everyone who stood by us and supported us throughout this process.




  • Fixed:
    Resolved an issue where the Complete All Quests objective sometimes appeared incomplete at the end of the game.
    Fixed a bug where Defend and Pick Up Special Item stats were not being recorded correctly.
    Addressed various map-related issues across several locations.


  • Added:
    8 new catchable pets have been added and placed throughout the maps:
    - Siamese Kitten

    A new lobby area, Freak House, has been added. It can be unlocked through a hidden room in the map.

Update 0.9.2



  • Optimized:

    *We have been working on renewing and improving some of our systems for a long time to address certain issues we were aware of but couldn't fully understand the cause of. With this patch, we have largely resolved the problem of clients occasionally experiencing lag while running. Since we had to rewrite some core systems in a more optimized manner, we would appreciate any feedback if you come across an overlooked issue.

  • Fixed:

    * Fixed an issue where the Engineer Meter did not update the point when turned off.
    * Fixed an error in calculating the total playtime on maps.
    * Prevented the "Press E to open" prompt from appearing on entity-bound doors in the Story map when they were locked.
    *Fixed an issue where certain dialogues generated empty subtitles.
    *Fixed a bug in the Story map that allowed progression without speaking to Renata on the bridge.
    *Fixed an issue where an empty quest could be created in the Story map.
    *Prevented the "Find the key" quest from appearing in the Story map.
    *Fixed a visual issue with the player's character at the end of the Story map.


  • Changed:
    *In lobbies, if a player has a previously saved item list, it will now be automatically selected when choosing a character.
    *The game's Summary UI has been completely revamped and updated. At the end of a game, you will now have access to more detailed information, including entities defeated on the map, the player who killed or revived you, and a summary of your map-specific statistics.

  • Added:

    *A toggle option has been added under Display Settings for lobby camera movements, allowing players who find the camera motion uncomfortable to enable or disable it.
    *A Credits screen has been added to the game's main menu.

Valentine's Day Event





  • Event:

    Valentine's Day event has been added.
    During the event, you can participate by playing on the Valentine's Park map, specially decorated for Valentine's Day at the Amusement Park.
    In the event, you can find balloons on the map to collect one balloon.
    You can use these balloons at the in-game shop to earn event rewards.
    During the event, enter the code VALENTINESDAY to obtain the Valentine's Day camera if you missed it in the previous event.



  • Added:

    Pink/Black/Bloody Engineer Meter skins have been added.
    Pink Grimoire skin has been added.
    Pink Motorcycle skin has been added.
    Heartseeker Hera skin has been added.
    - These skins can be purchased from the in-game market during the Valentine's Day event.

    White Rabbit has been added.
    - Special Ability: Experience Bond
    - This pet can be purchased from the in-game market during the Valentine's Day event.

  • Fixed:
    Fixed a bug where animals keep their Christmas hats after the Christmas event had ended.
    A possible fix has been applied for an issue where lobby trophies were visible to people who should not see them.
    The color of the ability descriptions has been corrected.
    Fixed an issue where Transparent Gravestones randomly fell below the map.





Update 0.9.0




  • Fixed:

    *Fixed an issue where NPCs were unable to correctly recognize yell (speech) commands on clients.
    *Fixed an issue where some NPCs' special sounds were not functioning correctly..
    *Fixed an issue where statues would sometimes remain floating or clip outside the map.




  • Changed:
    *Reworked lobby furniture to function more accurately in multiplayer.
    *Updated the tutorial area; it now presents a short story while teaching the game's basics.
    *Camera lines have been made more transparent to obstruct the view less.
    *To make the Labyrinth map easier, walkers have been removed, and the number of freaks has been reduced to one.
    * To make the Pitt map easier, walkers, Pantyman, and freaks have been removed. Additionally, the number of resurrection statues has been reduced to one.



  • Added:

    *Added a new character, Rhyland, who will be automatically unlocked upon completing the tutorial story for the first time.
    - Rhyland's ability allows him to place ash that immobilizes all entities (including stalkers like Banshees, Nightmares, and Hortlak) for 5 seconds.
    - This character carries 6 units of ash.
    *Added 2 new skins for Rhyland
    - Alchemist Rhyland – Available for purchase in the in-game store for $10,000.
    - Gravedigger Rhyland – Unlockable as a Level Pass reward at level 85.

Update 0.8.8




  • Fixed:

    *A minor issue in the new optimization for calculating fire ranges has been fixed.
    *A small update was made to fix potential multiplayer issues in the entity showcase calculation system.
    *The event introduction screen no longer remains displayed after the event has ended.
    *The sky collision in the Farmhouse that prevented stars from being visible has been removed.

  • Changed:
    *The new special animation events will now activate directly instead of chasing players first.

    * Resolved an issue where certain map events should only be triggered once.
    * Fixed a bug where video cameras could sometimes enter an infinite loop and causing performance issues.
    * Corrected dissolve effects for newly added protection talisman skins.
    * Fixed a typo in the vehicle selection screen.
    * Resolved an issue where the Grimoire was unusable in certain situations.

    * Updated and optimized the event calculation system for entities.
    * Revised the Grimoire system to ensure actions are not interrupted when the book is unequipped during animations.

Update 0.8.5




  • Fixed:

    * Minor visual bugs in the Grimoire have been fixed.
    * The issue where Demon marks appeared differently on the client and server has been resolved


  • Optimization:

    * Items like detectors and doors have been optimized to reduce network traffic usage and improve overall performance.


  • Changed:

    * Location-related questions have been removed from Ouija interactions, and the Ouija board will now only respond when it is within the entity’s area. This change is aimed at preventing evidence confusion with other ghosts.
    * On the map selection page, small maps (e.g., house maps) are now displayed at the top, while event maps are now categorized separately under the "Event" category.


  • Added:

    * One of our new mechanics, ghost rooms, has been added to the maps. Entities can now temporarily teleport you to ghost rooms based on their type.
    * Bags that spawn randomly in the game maps have been added. Players who find and collect these bags will earn money in-game.
    * Items such as papers, files, and newspapers that narrate the lore of key locations and characters have been added to the game maps for players to discover and read.
    * Camera shake effects have been added to certain events.
    * 27 new skins added to the game. Some of them can be bought from in-game shop, some of them are added to the Level Pass and others are reserved for story reward.

Update 0.8.0 and Christmas Event




  • Event:
    - Join the newly added time-limited event map, Frostbitten Hollows, to participate in the event. On this map, you will encounter 4 cursed snowmen. Banishing each creature on the map will lift one of the curses from the snowmen. Once all 4 curses have been lifted, you will have completed the event and will be rewarded with 5 Christmas Pouches. You also will be rewarded with a lobby trophy on your first completion.

    In addition, Christmas Pouches have been added to the maps, allowing you to earn extra event currency. If you manage to open the fuse-locked door in the hidden room, you will find 5 Christmas Pouches and a unique vehicle artifact that will be permanently added to the account of the player who claims it.


  • New Game Mechanics
    - Hidden Rooms
    This game mechanic allows you to discover hidden rooms on maps, containing various items. The primary purpose of this mechanic is to be base for other systems to be added in the future.

    With this update, we’re introducing this mechanic and have added one easy hidden room to the new event map, Frostbitten Hollows, for you to explore. Inside this hidden room, you’ll find a fuse-locked door.


    - Pet Capture
    This game mechanic enables you to capture certain wild animals roaming freely on the map. There’s nothing extra you need to do. Simply approach the pet on the map and claim it to permanently add it to your account.

    During the event, this system is active exclusively on the Frostbitten Hollows map, where you can capture the special Grey Stag.

    - 3 New Pets
    Frog: Available in the event shop for 5 Christmas Pouches.
    Stag: Available in the event shop for 25 Christmas Pouches. This pet has a unique ability, Festive Spirit, which grants the owner +2 event currency at the end of an event.
    Grey Stag: Can be found roaming freely on the event map.
    - 3 New Skins
    Red Stag Aaliyah: Available in the event shop for 15 Christmas Pouches.
    Winter Grace Nierva: Available in the event shop for 25 Christmas Pouches.
    Claus Taylor: Available in the event shop for 25 Christmas Pouches.
    - 3 New Item Skins
    Snowman Ghost Light: Available in the event shop for 5 Christmas Pouches.

  • Updated:
    A rotation feature, similar to the character selection screen, has been added to the vehicle and pet selection screens.

    Fixed:
    Fixed an issue where the attic ladder animation could be spammed by repeatedly clicking it.
    Resolved a bug where players could fall through the attic ladder when it was closed.
    Fixed an issue where pets could not pass through doors.
    Fixed a bug where Dizziness could be cast from outside its intended area.




Update 0.7.2



  • Event:
    Halloween event has been finished and disabled.

  • Fixed:
    The issue where Zoltar was not working in the lobby has been resolved.
    The movement animation bug for the Halloween-exclusive Hound Dog has been fixed.
    The issue where Vetala's eye mesh was not visible during the attack animation has been resolved.

  • Changed:
    The Totem and Talisman systems have been changed to prevent unlimited usage.
    The Pill system has been changed to prevent unlimited use.
    Nierva's talisman count has been reduced from 2 to 1 because it made the game too easy on small maps.
    Garry's crucifix count has been reduced from 5 to 4 for balance.
    Cara's running speed has been increased.
    The Dizziness effect has been reworked; it will now be permanently active within the ghost's area to increase its impact.

  • Added:
    A new Rat event has been added. Entities that previously triggered the Flashing Light event will now trigger the Rat event instead
